I really liked staying at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort. The resort is cozy and quiet. We don't have small kids, and I didn't feel like having little kids running and splashing around nonstop. Our two-bedroom suite was absolutely fantastic, with an ocean view and a balcony with chairs and an umbrella. The check-in was a great experience. Jennifer was very friendly and offered us lemon water and fruit punch upon our arrival. My husband bought a case of water and Coke and left it downstairs as our room was on the second floor. Unfortunately, I don't know the worker's name, but he took it and brought it to our door without us asking. It was really nice of him. The bar and food on the beach were also delicious, and, of course, Eagle Beach is stunning. We had a great experience and can't wait to come back.

The hotel is very clean. The staff is nice and usefull. We got a free upgrade without asking! The beach with the free beach chairs is just perfect. There is a Super Food at 5 min walk. The only negative is the smell around the pool.

We had a beautiful view of the beach! The staff at the hotel and at both restaurants were incredible. Everyone seemed happy and everyone was super helpful! We had the absolute best stay at Amsterdam Manor. We were upgraded to a suite at no charge and our room was decorated beautifully for our honeymoon. Every staff person we interacted with was incredibly kind and accommodating. Our room was clean and pristine. We also took the short walk across the street to the beach daily to enjoy the complementary palapa and swim in the ocean. We dined at both Horizons and Passions and had delicious food at both restaurants. We will definitely be back!

great location, quiet and easy

Loved the size and space of accommodations. Housekeeping was very kind and professional. Staff was hit or miss. Location was fantastic, with both Passions beach front bar/restaurant and Horizons bar having great cocktails and food. I really wish you could get a poolside drink in the afternoon (can walk across the street and get one on the beach, I guess) Overall, the beachfront shade with direct access to the beach, and a quiet hotel that is still walkable or a 10 minute taxi to main areas is definitely worth it. And the Superfood Market was amazing Will warn that the construction makes the hotel a little less beautiful, but that won't last forever.
