We loved this resort and will definitely return. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the 1 bedroom suite was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was excellent (for us) as we like it quieter. The high rise hotel district where most of the bars, restaurants and clubs are is a 15 - 20 minute walk north, on the beachfront path. But if you're not a walker, the bus stops right out front of the resort plus you can rent a scooter, electric bike, or just Uber. The beach was amazing and I loved that we had access to ample palapas (umbrellas) that were reserved for resort guests. We really enjoyed both restaurants/ bars on the resort and loved our dinner on the beach (reservations recommended especially if you want sunset). All in all a fabulous stay. This was our first time in Aruba and we were celebrating our 25th anniversary. One thing that did surprise me about the Island though, was it is always windy, and I not just talking a gentle ocean breeze! So FYI ladies... take plenty of hair clips ;-)

We stayed here again because we had such a wonderful time last year. Things have obviously changed and for the worse!!! Staff is NOT friendly and unwelcoming. Nobody even says good morning. Worse part, there’s a terrible FECES smell all throughout the property due to some sewer plant right behind the property. We were stuck smelling shhhhhh at all times of the day. Imagine coming back to the room after a wonderful dinner and being nauseous from the terrible smell. We definitely will NOT be back!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

The resort was absolutely fabulous, the only one thing that wasn’t as pleasant had nothing to do the resort but the area had a strange odor. The room was great the staff was even better. I private beach and beach bar was all so awesome. They should definitely consider extending bar hours. We are considering even returning and doing our destination wedding here! We will absolutely be back.

We loved the location as it was a quick walk to the beach. There were restaurant and grocery stores nearby. Our unit was spotless and this hotel provided all of the essentials for the kitchen and bathrooms! The balcony and view were wonderful! We had the penthouse suite. Totally worth the cost! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Jennifer! We can’t wait to visit again! 💙💚🌴

Candid review about Amsterdam Manor Resort area

The hotel experience unfortunately as below expectations mainly due to a horrible odor from a nearby sewage water treatment plant, throughout the entire week. The sewage smell was unbearable thus could not enjoy either the hotel amenities or the front beach. While the smell issue is a city and not hotel responsibility, I would not recommend staying in that area. The hotel staff was great and the room was also in good condition. I hope the smell issue gets resolved but it seems its been there for more than a year.

A Hidden Gem in Paradise – Amsterdam Manor Exceeded All Expectations! Our stay at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort Aruba was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with genuine smiles and a refreshing drink. The boutique feel of the resort offers an intimate, relaxed atmosphere that feels worlds away from the crowded high-rises, yet it's just minutes from everything. The location is unbeatable—right across from Eagle Beach, which is consistently ranked one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The palapas and lounge chairs provided by the resort made it easy to relax, and the water was crystal clear and calm—perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or simply soaking in the Caribbean sunshine. Only downside is the waste water treatment plant about a block away you could smell at times. Our room was charming and well-equipped with a full kitchenette, comfortable bed, and a beautiful view of the courtyard and pool. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated in Dutch-Caribbean style. The staff were phenomenal—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Special shoutouts to Julio and Billy at the front desk and the beach attendants, who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

The room was good, the service was decent though slow at the bar - too many people and not enough staff. Very lovey property, but ruined by horrible smell from the nearby sewage treatment facility. I'd stay there again if it wasn't for the smell of sewage.
