We have no pets. Great to have pubs, restaurants and tourist destinations nearby. We did not want to drive anywhere so the hotel location is perfect.

What a unique and historic hotel. We enjoyed a nice quiet room with a comfortable bed and excellent bathroom/shower. The staff was very accommodating and quite friendly. We loved their wonderful breakfast. Centrally located and great parking in a very congested part of Norwich. Highly recommended and supposedly the oldest hotel in the UK.

The hotel is in a great location, easy to walk into the city or to the station. There are some great dining options around the hotel. We stayed in the Surlingham suite which was gorgeous. The view in the morning of the cathedral was fantastic. The staff could not have been more helpful, everything we asked for they accommodated. We'd definitely stay again!!!

Booked for a long weekend away. Very welcoming, friendly staff from the moment of check-in right through to checking out. Hotel location is ideal, being about 200 metres from Norwich Cathedral (Anglican) and making the town centre easy walking distance. The buffet breakfast was extensive and tasty. A complimentary 40 minute tour of the city in a vintage Bentley (weekends only) added to the whole experience.

Lovely Hotel

My husband brought us here for my birthday and we stayed for one night. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Our twin room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had an evening meal here and the meals were exceptionally good. Breakfast was very good too. We would definitely book to stay again.

A comfortable but over-priced hotel in a good location. The few staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. It is disappointing to have to pay for parking on top of an already pricy room charge.

Outstanding Stay

We had an absolutely excellent stay at the Maid’s Head Hotel. The room was gorgeous, spotless, and really comfortable. Every member of staff we met was super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel special. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of delicious vegan options. It was such a treat to have so much choice. Honestly, this was one of the best hotel stays we’ve had in a long time, and we can’t wait to go back!
