We would definitely stay here again. We liked the off street guaranteed parking, the private walkway to the beach, and inside, on the second floor, the view of the sun rising over the ocean and the early birds walking on the beach. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was adequate for us--and we cooked inside a lot!

Perfect place for my blended family. Rooms and beds for us all. Little private walkway to the beach gave us direct access and we had the beach to ourselves. The cottage provided everything we needed to make our own meals. The host was attentive and accommodating. DVD players and DVD movies provided gave us parents a bit of nostalgia we will definitely be back

First of all, you won't find a nicer, more attentive host than Lena anywhere. Her 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage, aptly named "Serenity", is welcoming, super-clean, with lovely oceanfront views and a private, short path to the beach. My family loved the balcony and patio- and the quiet location. We'll definitely be back next summer!

Great Beachfront Home!

This property is absolutely amazing! It is a 10-15 minute walk to the pier, and you can see the water from the deck and one bedroom. The space was clean and had everything you need. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a beach stay.

Best vacation ever

The location is great and the host was amazing. Very attentive to details but never intrusive. The rental unit was very clean and had everything you would have at home. A short walk to the pier and then you can retreat back to a quieter, more relaxed area. Would definitely rent this again.

Summer Kick Off Family Time

We were graciously greeted by the friendly Owner who lives on the 3 compound property, available for advising on any of our few concerns. Each cottage has parking for 4 cars, next to the sandy, beautiful stretch of beach. Two floors of spacious rooms, so comfortably furnished, with two bathrooms, and space for a large family. We enjoyed card games around the large table, nice showers, easy access to beach, town festivities and shopping, and the beauty of extended seaside strolling both morning and night. We felt safe and cared for. When hot out, we were cooled by air conditioning or ceiling fans. There were tv’s in each bedroom and plenty of seats for a big family to relax. The cottage accommodated 10 of us with ease

Can't Wait To Go Back!

From the moment we booked online, the owner was attentive and hospitable. Extra safety precautions were taken on their part due to the COVID-19 and we were so pleased with the attention to detail, cleanliness, and amenities provided for our stay. To sit on the deck and watch the sunrise, or to just sit and listen to the waves was so relaxing. The beach was impeccable. Clean, soft sand with no erosion, proximity to the pier and town shops, and the spacious home were some of the highlights of our vacation. The owner has and offers her expertise in the area recommending shopping, restaurants, local attractions, and activities for any age or interest! We were made to feel like special guests in their home. Every consideration was made to ensure we were more than comfortable for our entire stay. More than once the owner told us "Do not worry about anything, this is your vacation and you should be enjoying your time" This is exactly what our party of 8 needed! This property is a MUST - RENT! We are so excited to return again next year!

Beautiful cottage in the perfect spot with the best owners

We rented from the same owners last year (in the adjacent property) and loved the location and their hospitality so much, we came back, but switched to this cottage because we brought along more people! The location couldn't be better: steps to the beach, on a part of the beach that is never crowded, far from the noise downtown, but a short, easy walk to get there. In the morning, you can just walk out your door down to the beach (with the provided chairs and such), setup in the same spot (because no one else will be there), and pop back to the house whenever you need (bathroom, restock the cooler, etc.). The cottage itself is as clean as the best hotels we've stayed at, offers an amazing view off the deck, is spacious and well appointed, and the decor is warm and inviting and follows the owners' obvious love of the seaside. It's also well-stocked: we cooked many meals indoors and out (on the grill), and didn't find ourselves missing a single utensil or bowl or pan. And the owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, happy to help, right next door if you have any concerns or questions. Even if you could find somewhere else as nice and well located for the price (highly doubtful), you'd come back here just to stay with these owners! They also sincerely solicit feedback on improvements, and we saw everything we mentioned last year addressed (and this year we couldn't even find anything to suggest). We'll be back next summer.

Great vacation home!

From the welcome by the owner, to the wonderful surprise gift waiting inside, I was very happy with this rental. It was spacious, clean, and the location is terrific. There were so many personal touches that made the vacation very pleasant and enjoyable. Everything you needed was already there! I would not hesitate to rent this cottage again. If you are looking for a great mix of a quiet beach within walking distance to the Pier and action this is the place to stay. We had plenty of room for our group of 10 and Lena went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The beach is just a few hundred feet away and was by far one of the best locations in the area. The kids also really enjoyed the quick walk to all the amusements and fun OOB has to offer. We really enjoyed this house and highly recommended it to anyone looking to enjoy Old Orchard Beach.

PERFECT VACATION PLACE!!

The absolute best Old Orchard Beach place to stay by far! The house was perfect for us. It was very clean and comfy, well equipped, spacious and had the most comfortable beds. Beach location is undeniably ideal and wonderful, only a short walking distance (less than a minute to get to the beach), not to crowded and very family oriented. We also couldn't have asked for a better hostess, so welcoming, attentive and accommodating. There's no doubt we will be back!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Sandra B. & Family

Excellent family location/property with a great host!!!

This was a fantastic vacation! We had two families with a total of six children, aged 21 - 13, for a total of ten people in the house. We fit comfortably and the owner, Lena, was an amazing host! She made sure our stay was comfortable, gave great recommendations and was available to provide anything else we might need! The location of the property is perfect. It is an easy half mile walk into town to experience the tourist element of OOB but far enough away not to be bothered with the noise. We watched the town fireworks from the beach, which is 40 yards from the front door down the owner's private drive. The ocean view and sounds from the house are wonderful. The house is cozy and comfortable, and has all the things you need (you do have to bring your own linens). We cooked several days at the house using the utensils, pots/pans, etc for all 10 of us without issue. We had two minor inconveniences during our stay - a city power outage for a couple hours and a leaky toilet- both of which Lena remained extremely attentive, providing us updates and having the toilet taken care of promptly. We were so impressed with her hospitality. None of us had ever been to Maine before, and we were so impressed and completely enjoyed our stay in this house! Highly recommend!
