Underwear in our Bed

We stayed at this hotel twice in the past 4 weeks. Our first experience was fine so we booked again. We got in late and went to bed quickly. The next morning my wife felt something under the sheets as we were packing up to leave. She pulled the sheets back to discover a pair of men's underwear that did not belong to our family. Shocked is an understatement. We left immediately. We left a message with the hotel a few days ago asking them to contact us, but have not heard from them. Without an explanation from them, we can only assume our bed sheets were not changed since the previous guests. (There was also a sock in the pullout sofa bed- but we can overlook that) Overall the hotel was not bad, but this is inexcusable. We had hoped that the hotel would respond to our message to clarify what may have happened and talk about our experience. I rarely make negative posts, but we do not want another guest to have our same experience.

Nice Hotel, but no Hot Water on 1 Day of Stay

2 night stay. On the first morning, the shower did not have any warm water. I had to shower in ice cold water.

This was not the 1st time we stayed at this hotel. It has beenvery nice and clean every time we have been. Breakfast is also good for a hotel breakfast. But this time there were just a couple of things as far as the cleanliness of our room. I noticed the 1st night we checked in, there were 2 used hand towels on a shelf below the sink. Like someone just forgot to pick them up. And the 3rd night there was a bag of trash sitting on top of our toothbrushes on the bathroom counter. Now, this did go unmentioned to the staff because the towel were gone when we left and came back to the hotel the 2nd night. So i let it go. The bag on top of our toothbrushes made me so mad, but there was a cleaners cart right outside our room at the time, so i had my husband put it out there. I didnt want to lose my temper on someone, so i didnt say anything to the staff. But their cleaners need to pay better attention and be more courteous about what they are doing!!

Great accommodations; poor service.

When we checked in, the obviously-tired desk manager couldn't initially find our reservation. She grew frustrated with us and made us wait while she helped other guests. She began to say we don't have a room, and she was uninterested in seeing my receipts from hotels.com. After we gently insisted we'd booked one, she eventually "checked" in "another spot" and found our names. Her attitude changed, and we got our keys. Accommodations were clean and nice. Breakfast was slow, however, as food items were replaced only gradually by an attendant who was literally watching a soccer game on his phone as he casually worked. While a hungry group of people watched him.

Very conveniently located (just off interstate). Lots of eating options nearby. Close to shopping (large retail, pharmacy, grocery stores, gasoline). Employees were helpful, personable. Facility very clean. Spacious parking. Well lighted.

It was nice the staff were welcoming. My complaint was that the bathtub still had a ring it in and the bathroom cabinets had a huge pile of dust bunnies u day it. The breakfast was late being set up.

The room had dirty and smelly sheets. I was told that there was no other rooms and I had to change my own sheets. Worst experience ever at a hotel. There was no manager on duty to address the issues.

Lisa, the dayshift manager is wonderful. She's so friendly and helpful. This is our second time staying here and will do so again in the future. The hotel is clean, quiet, and the beds/pillows are comfortable.
