Hotel is right on beach and they provided lots of nice touches like cooling towels, ice-creams during the day and a cocktail for Father’s Day. Was the best value hotel on this stretch od beach at this time of year although it is a little old but everything is well maintained.

Great Holiday!

Hotel was in a great location for us as close to a good selection of restaurants. The employees were very welcoming and attentive. Always had access to sun loungers although early-November is still out of peak season. All the water sports (non-motorised) were free to use. Overall a great holiday location and hotel.

A good hotel but not exceptional

Wonderful staff, great location, BUT- small room, with small bed, monotonous food, cramped when hotel got busy, breakfast a free for all, full of noisy children.

excellent stay!

We had a very good stay in the Tamarind recently. A lovely hotel in a great position on the west coast. We had a beautiful suite overlooking the sea and pool area near to the beach. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The beach was very nice but because of the trees overhanging it there was only a limited area which had the sun for most of the day near to the watersports end. The only other criticism we had was when we arrived we were specifically told by reception that we were not permitted to reserve beach chairs!! What a joke that was, most of the chairs were reserved by 7.30am!!! Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Great hotel!

A great experience; they think of everything. Staff are excellent and the General Manager (Kim) could not have been more helpful. A memorable holiday for all the right reasons!!

Fabulous last minute get-away

Excellent hotel in perfect location. Friendly and efficient staff. Food was very good. Would definately return.
