The pictures on the web were nothing like the actual property. Exterior was peeling, windows were fogged up, mattresses needed to be replaced, the carpet felt wet, sink and shower wouldn’t drain, musty odor, the caulk around the toilet was yellow and mostly missing. We planned on 2 nights but checked out the following morning.

Plumbing issues. clogged toilets for over 12 hours. Front desk clerk was rude when we were told it was the whole building. Maintenance worked on it but finally called in a team to get it fixed. Was offered 1/3 of the cost of my stay for that day as a refund. Had to leave for the day due to not being able to use the toilets and having children you cant say well you cant use the bathroom. The rest of the staff was very nice. ould have refunded the days stay not 1/3 of the cost.

The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming…they were the only bright spot of the stay. Our rooms were stuffy and only 1 out of three rooms a/c worked sufficiently. The beds were not comfortable, and sheets were beyond wrinkled and found enough hairs to wonder if these were clean sheets. Refrigerators were not on upon arrival and oddly seemed to turn off when we turned the lights out. We had 5 grand children traveling with us and disappointment doesn’t describe their emotions realizing they couldn’t swim in the pool bc it was so dirty. We have stayed in this hotel numerous times in years past and enjoyed it, this time it was showing its age and how it has not been maintained.

The service was excellent. We enjoyed the pool. No elevator to 2 nd floor so if handicapped must be on first floor Not a hotel for longer stays. Not near all the Charlevoix action. But we were here to be a part of the Antique Road Show so overnight was just perfect!

Did not end up staying. The property is old and rundown. We went to our room and the sheets on the bed were old, grayish and didn’t even fit the mattress. The toilet seat was hanging off to one side and the halls and walls were scuffed up and chipped. The parking lot was in need of repaving. We walked out right away and asked for our money back and the nice lady said Expedia will do the refund…..nowhere on their website can you contact Expedia so who knows.
