A nice stay

Stayed here with my husband, my mum and stepdad and it was a really lovely stay overall. When we first arrived, we were told we couldn't check in until 3pm and there wasn't many places to hang around until that time - So we just had to sit in reception. The trainee on reception, Ting Ting, was really quite rude to another customer when we first arrived and later was on the phone to a customer rolling her eyes, talking in Thai and laughing which was super inappropriate. So our stay didn't start off on the best foot. However, the rest of the staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating. When we went to our room and the room was nice but did need a little refresh in places - I would heavily dispute this was a 5* compared to others we have stayed in (I'm aware that makes me sound so obnoxious but it is true). We opted for a 'jacuzzi room' but the jacuzzi in question was essentially just a freezing cold plunge pool, so my husband only went in it once... not worth the extra money - a normal room is fine. Room was very clean when we arrived, cleaned every single day by the staff and, I have to say, the bed was so comfy! Good amenities in the way of tea, coffee and bathroom toiletries too. The only thing we didn't like about the room was the fact the wardrobe is in the bathroom. So, every time someone pooped your clothes were in there, which was weird and we had to use the wardrobe as that was the only hanging space, with only 2 small drawers otherwise. Good location!

Hotellet virker underbemandet

Poolen var meget beskidt og der flød med plastik og cigaretskodder i poolen ( særligt ved bygning 9). Ved solsengene stod der ofte tomme flasker og affald til dagen efter. Bygningerne ligger meget tæt og der er derfor ofte lugt af cannabis og dermed ikke holdbart at sidde på balkonen. Morgenmaden var god, men det var ofte tomt og det tog lang tid at fylde de forskellige ting op. Det er vores sjette besøg i Thailand og på denne tur boede vi på 3 forskellige 5 stjerner hoteller, hvoraf dette var klart det dårligste. Hotellet er egentlig fint, men det virker som om der er konstant underbemanding på mange af posterne. Ikke et hotel vi vender tilbage til.

This was hotel was great! We got a room with jacuzzi and their breakfast was the best breakfast buffet I had. It is located on Kalim beach which has a lovely night market and very close to Patong beach. All in all great hotel with great bed and service.

The hotel is ok but slightly dated. It is really a 3/4 star hotel. Breakfast buffet was expansive but is not international as pork products are not served. Biggest problem is the distance to Patong and beaches which result in the constant use of taxis since the shuttle service 8s very limited.

SO disappointing

I’m so disappointed I chose to stay here. On arriving, check in was a mess, with staff who seemed uninterested to help. Going from reception to my room, seeing the state of the hotel, dirty walls, out of date adverts - and THE SMELL. The room itself was fine, a bit of mold in the shower but apart from that it was a good room. I would say that the cleaning staff were very friendly, and was the only positive interaction I had. The pools you could see are not cleaned regularly, so I spent as much time out of the hotel as possible.

5 Star Resort? More like 3.5 Stars

We stayed here because it was listed as a five star resort. The rooms are very nice, and the grounds are pretty, but this does not make a 5 star resort. What makes a 5 star resort is the attention to detail, and the customer service. There was peeling paint on the ceiling of the room, mold in the shower, we got a hot tub suite, but the tub stopper didn’t work, nor did they come to fix it. Towels were shoddy(one had a hole/tear in it), there was a handheld bidet with only cold water, the trash bins were all damaged and should have been thrown away, and the sockets were so worn that our plugs would not stay in. The customer service could have made up for some of these points, but unfortunately that was lacking as well, with the low point being that they would not let us check out without a Housekeeping check to make sure there was no damage or items stolen (what 5 star resort does this?) in fact, we had stayed at the Waldorf Astoria in Bangkok earlier, in a comparable suite, and the service there was impeccable, and the property was kept up to the highest standards, and we paid less for that room! Overall, would not recommend if looking for a five star experience, especially for the price.
