He sido cliente frecuente del Hotel Caribe por años debido a razones personales de salud que me llevan a hospedarme en Ponce regularmente. Sin embargo, esta experiencia fue sumamente decepcionante y frustrante. Al momento del check-in, le solicité a la joven trigueña que me atendió que de favor me ubicara lejos del matrimonio residente en el hotel que en ocasiones anteriores ha causado múltiples molestias con discusiones, ruidos y comportamientos inadecuados. A pesar de mi petición, la joven de recepción me asignó la habitación justo al lado de la que ocupan el matrimonio. La noche fue un verdadero tormento: gritos, discusiones, ruidos y disturbios desde temprano en la noche hasta las 5:40 a.m. que se fueron del cuarto, lo cual me impidió descansar y afectó seriamente mi bienestar. Lo más indignante fue sentir que mi solicitud fue ignorada o, peor aún, se burló de mi solicitud. Como cliente que paga por un servicio, espero consideración y respeto. En cambio, recibí una experiencia que no solo fue desagradable, sino que dejó en evidencia una falta de empatía y profesionalismo por parte de la empleada. La recurrencia del problema con esos huéspedes y la aparente indiferencia del personal reflejan una falla grave en el servicio. Espero que la administración tome acción y haga los ajustes necesarios para garantizar el bienestar de todos los huéspedes, especialmente de quienes eligimos este lugar por necesidad, no por turismo.

Aunque el hotel se encuentra en remodelación, no tuvimos inconveniente por ruido.Solo caminas más para tener acceso a lugares como la piscina o para obtener hielo. La piscina es grande y en buenas condiciones. Una música en el área no estaría mal. La habitación no es moderna, pero cuenta con las amenidades necesarias para tu estancia (aire de la habitación frío, calentador en ducha y lavamanos, cuenta con nevera pequeña, microondas, cafetera, caja fuerte, blower y plancha) Posee máquina de café en el lobby ($) y máquinas expendedoras cerca de la piscina. La experiencia en general buena, ya que no habían muchos huéspedes, entiendo que por la remodelación. Trato amable, buen estacionamiento. Cerca de varios establecimientos de comida además de que puedes utilizar los servicios de Uber eats. Fácil acceso a la autopista y muy cerca del aeropuerto La Mercedita.
