This place was so charming and full of character. Every staff member I met was very friendly. Check in was smooth.. my room was very unique and comfortable. This hotel is also in the perfect proximity to walk around town. Definitely would recommend!

A wonderful option in portsmouth. Great central location, free parking, you can walk everywhere. Charming property, more like a large Inn than a hotel. Has some character, staff were exceptional, nice to have good coffee available at all times, breakfast and water. Lots of areas (inside and out) to hang out. I would recommend this property

Okay place. Elevator out of order, blow dryer didn’t work but the brought me a new one. Breakfast was only continental, thought it would be better since it was a bread and breakfast. Was in a great location where you could walk to shopping and restaurants.

The elevator was not working so we had to carry our things up to our room on the 2nd floor. Staff offered to do this but they were young, not very professional and we declined. Also, the TV had issues as it ran off of the internet. A staff person gad to come to our room to connect it. The room and hotel was eclectic; but nice. An ok stay but we will not return.

Great location within walking distance of the shops and restaurants. Room was clean, but the staff provided no information about amenities, parking or really anything helpful upon check in. Amenities in the room were lacking. Overall, was a little disappointed in this stay.
