Our stay was extremely disappointing. The first room was so dated and dingy that it felt dirty — it smelled old, and the carpet was sticky and torn. We asked for an updated room, and while it was cleaner, it was a downgrade from the suite we paid for, and they initially tried to charge us $30 extra. After some back and forth, they finally let us switch, and Expedia refunded our second night. We had to leave early to find another hotel, so we never got to relax after a long travel day. To make things worse, every restaurant — even the coffee shop — was closed when we checked out, so we couldn’t use our $12 Expedia Gold credit. Overall, a very frustrating experience.

The hotel is beautiful and even the parts that need to be updated are well kept and in good condition. However, I was disappointed that a "resort" did not have valet parking, the parking situation is horrible, especially if you are mobility challenged. Nor were there any bellmen or housekeeping during our stay. The employees were friendly and helpful. The hotel could up their game and off some service touches that would make it top notch. The beds were way too soft. They are in the process of renovation and perhaps replacing mattress. I do have some feedback about the hotels.com website experience vs hotel. I filtered to get an accessible room with two queen size beds and that is what I booked. There were no notes for the hotel and they don't have that kind of room. We needed the grab bars in the shower and near the toilet and luckily they were able to give us a king suite with accessibility in bathroom. But one of us had to sleep on a pull out couch rather than bed. Hotels.com, please do better this was a poor experience only made right by the staff at the PRESCOTT RESORT.

The room was in serious need of updating. Carpet in the bedroom area had visible ripples. The countertop in the bathroom was separating from the wall. The light above the sink in the bathroom was flickering and kept turning off but maintenance fixed it pretty quickly though. I think we’ll try the one of the upgraded rooms next time.

The room was very nice, comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff are polite, helpful, went out of there way to accommodate me and the guests I saw them attending to. Room service food was deliciously satifying, and the staff were prompt and cheerful.

We have stayed here for Thanksgiving every year for the past seven years. Every year we have asked and been allowed to move a couple of chairs so our entire family can sit together and spend time enjoying each other the night before thanksgiving. We always ask permission and have always been met with a friendly staff member telling us of course. Staff has even come to speak with us and chat. It always been more than pleasant. However, this year, we were told we were not allowed to. The area we like to sit is completely out of the way and secluded. However, we were told moving 3 chairs was not allowed. We then tried to sit in the restaurant/bar area where we were not allowed to push 2 tables together. We had nowhere to go. We spoke to the manager, Dave, who was extremely rude, condescending and unhelpful. We asked where we could all go to sit together and his suggestion was to rent out a conference room and my response was “for 8 people!?!” And he shrugged his shoulders and was incredibly rude. We decided to leave and go to a local restaurant for a friendlier experience and on our way out, the very tables we were told not to move were pushed together for another party. I will be escalating this further and, unfortunately, this will be the end of one of family’s traditions. Thanks to Dave. After 7 wonderful years, we will not be back.

Our first indication that his may not have been the best place to stay, was when we walked in we and noticed the carpet was dirty and there was a line at check in. We were told at he check in desk that the room was not ready even though it was after check in time and when asked when it would b ready, we were told they didn't know. Someone else said they had been told it would be an hour's wait. We were told they would call us when the room was ready. We went out on what looked like a large, lovely patio only to discover there were only a few places to sit and those chairs were torn and dirty. They do have, however, a lovely view overlooking Prescott. They never did call, so we returned to the desk to find out that the room had been ready for awhile. The room could have been nice if it were not for the filthy carpet and the burned out light bulbs. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had sufficient hot water. All in all, it gave the impression of a very tired old hotel. We have stayed in other Indian hotel/casinos and they all were clean and comfortable, just not this one.
