This is our 2nd time at Te Moana - always good fun! It was a hit or miss with our food - lunch was really good - dinner was not. There were 6 of us and 2 of our party (myself included) did not eat much of their meal. That said, everyone misses sometimes, and the rest of our stay was wonderful!

We enjoyed our one night stay at Te Moana Resort. Our check in was quite convenient, we were offered transport from the airport and then our bags were held for us while we waited for our room to be ready. The room itself was spacious and clean. We were impressed with the restaurants on site and the food, although expensive (we were warned). We enjoyed lounging at the pool and our massages at the spa on site. We would come back for sure, but off to Mo’orea!

Property is dated and old. It’s dark. Management service is very poor. I told them I need 2 beds in the room and at check in I asked again if there is 2 beds he said yes and when we went to the room the beds were not separated so we had to call housekeeping to come and set the beds ! At check in I was asked my passport and my daughter’s passport and he returned me only my daughter passport and he kept mine and I had to ask him for my passport and he made as if he forgot it ! !!! My fauvhter was hungry and the restaurant said they were closed and room service starts at 11 pm so at 11 pm we called to order and reception said room service starts 11:30 pm and I did say they told us at the pool it starts 11 pm he said no 11:30 pm and at 11:20 pm room service called to ask what we want to order… my daughter ordered a chicken salad and it was not good at all. She did not eat any of it. The hotel looks like a hospital not lively. I went for bfast next day and as soon as I enter the dining room I left the smell Was bad !!!! Will never go there again

Te Moana is a pleasant hotel. Cleanliness is seen throughout the hotel. Staff is very attentive with Polynesian hospitality. As others have mentioned the hotel could use a bit of renovations and the rooms do in fact have a "unpleasant smell". The pool area also needs renovations. All in all it's a nice hotel.

We had an amazing time here at Te Moana. The staff are more than accommodating and allowed us access to the property well before we checked in. Every day the property is filled with fresh flowers right from the grounds. It’s truly a breathtaking experience. Wonderful food and staff.

Very noisy at night, dogs, in cages at the property, bark all through the night. The rosters start up at 4.00am and continue right through the morning. The shower was only a dribble. The treads on our stairs, in our unit, were loose and really noisy. Not recommended for the cost of well over US$500 per night

Most days our room was not cleaned, in returning to our room, we had to ring reception for clean towels, tidy our room and make our beds, which we could do, but as a service we paid for, wasn’t what we expected. Staff were rude and very unhelpful, the exception being, a couple of the front desk staff, and the activities staff.

I liked our stay. I will say that the only thing I did not like about Tahiti was the poor treatment and abandoned animals. I wish that your government would do something about this issue. We loved your complimentary breakfast and coffee machine. The activities dept was very good to us.

The room was comfortable with a wonderful view across the infinity pool, looking at Moorea. The restaurant food was very good, though the buffet breakfast was a bit overpriced . . . Very nice hotel and friendly and good staff.

We stayed at the Te Moana for two nights and especially loved the outdoor areas, such as the lagoon and gorgeous infinity pool. The little islands conected by bridges were very romantic with little white lights, fun drinks and a gorgeous sunset over Moorea in the distance. The hotel room and balcony could use some renovation, but everything was comfortable and the restaurant meal of tuna was one of our best of our trip. I saw some tropical fish at the lagoon I didn't see anywhere else!
