I loved my stay here. I took a solo birthday trip in June, and when I tell you this is a beautiful hotel, you must see it for yourself. This staff was exceptional Horam, Celsa, and Jeysi took very good care of me. All the staff were so very nice and helpful. I can't wait for next vacation here. By the way the food was Delicious

I absolutely loved my stay at the Bahia Principe! The highlight of the entire experience was definitely the staff — they were incredibly kind, funny, and welcoming. Their positive energy truly made my vacation so much more enjoyable. The only downside I encountered was at one of the restaurants, the hibachi. Despite having a reservation, we waited over an hour to be seated. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't have air conditioning, and the atmosphere felt a bit off with a noticeable musty or moldy smell. That said, all of the other restaurants were fantastic, offering great food and excellent service. Overall, it was a wonderful trip, and I would definitely return — just maybe skip the hibachi next time.

Rating: 8/10 This was my second stop, and honestly—it didn’t disappoint! 💫 The resort is Adults Only, but the property itself is HUGE thanks to it being connected to several other Bahia Principe resorts. That’s why I think this place is perfect for family reunions or friend group trips—if someone can’t stay at Ambar, they can easily book one of the neighboring resorts and still hang out. From daytime poolside games to nightly entertainment , there’s always something going on. The pool was never too packed, which I loved—but fair warning: finding a good chair early is key!

The property overall is beautiful. The dreadful excess seaweed that made the beach water look dirty and muddy was of no fault of the hotel. I would have like to have been forewarned about this somehow. Since we didn't get in the water at all as a result. As worth most all inclusive the reservation only restaurants were hit or miss. Taino was incredible and Rodizio Cacao was very good. The pool was a lot of fun. We loved the proximity and accessibility of the sister Bahia properties. The company that was contracted for the horse back riding makes for an entirely separate 1 star review. The hotel rooms are gorgeous. Room service was good and quick. If it weren't for the excessive amount of seaweed that kept almost everyone from staying out of the beach water. I'd book again.
