The room and shared restroom are reasonable clean. I stayed for 7 nights and there is no room service in between. You can request if needed. Parking is easy. There was only one elevator operating, and the wait time could be a bit long. The trail around the lake is nice. The price is good. It is a decent budget stay.

There was a big blood stain on the bed sheet—it was absolutely disgusting. I showed the photo to the front desk staff, but instead of apologizing, she argued that it was “just a blood stain” and didn’t mean the sheet wasn’t clean. Can you believe that?

Our towels did not get replaced when asked reception they said theu dont have any. Washroom was 🤕🤕. I did not wanted to take showet their. Sink was getting clogged. Price for stay is okay but facilities or hotel itself makes you feel better sleep in the car and not go to your room. Staff was friendly. Parking free.

Our room was next to a public bathroom and stunk up our room. Bugs everywhere! Limited cold water and when we turned on taps or flushed the toilet the noise was so loud it rocked the room. Absolutely nothing around, no stores and limited buses. No heat. When we said the room was too cold they gave us an extra blanket. We were tempted to change hotels but there was nothing in the area. This is a very run down dormitory at best. I would seriously question any of the positive reviews.

Unassuming place but makes for a wonderful experience without burning a hole in your pocket. I especially loved all the space, the tranquility, and the haunted hostel feel - I felt like I was in a movie. The staff was courteous, and the linen clean. I would love to return someday.

Good budget accommodation

Room was clean but warm as there were not fan or AC. Bed was comfortable. It takes 1 hour to get to Old Quebec if you takes bus 92 or 94 on schedule (after 8:00 AM is every hour) to Sainte Foy and connect with bus 800 or 801. To return home at night, the bus 92 or 94 is every hour from Sainte Foy. There are not grocery store near by. For $40.00 CAD the night it is not bad. Be aware that there are new immigrants leaving in the residence due to lack of housing, no issues with them. The surrounding of the building is a forest and St Lawrence River.

It’s a very run down building not clean outside. Bed and pillows are horrible but if you’re staying one night it’s ok. Wouldn’t recommend for any more then one night.
