The hotel is in a walkable area close to old town. The pool and gardens and lovely, and the live music over the garden was special. The rooms need some TLC with tears in the furniture and some mold in bathroom. Concierge and porter services were ok.

Great location with on site parking. Loved the indoor courtyard with pool and hot tub. Live music was an added bonus. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Well done, Hôtel Palace Royal!

The hotel is walkable to a lot of great amenities; however, the cleanliness of the hotel is a serious concern. Sheets and blankets with stains, debris/dirt on bathroom floors, room floors with gouges in them. The lack of cleanliness, lack of prompt response from the staff, and lack of agreeable resolution are reasons for concern.

Great stay overall

Had a great overnight stay. Especially loved having an iron and ironing board as i needed it. Also,the shower was great and spacious. Staff were friendly. Nice comfortable bed too. Overall,great stay!

The hotel was perfect. The location was near the old city walls, parking at the hotel, the room and beds were really comfortable. The pool and hot tubs were bonuses. Check-in was easy and hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

3 nights from hell

The only good thing about this hotel was the front desk staff and bellboy were good. The hotel was terrible stayed 3 nights, zero service, room never cleaned, bed never made, never a clean towel, bed very uncomfortable couldn't stay in it longer than a couple of hours then got up and slept in the chair. They should pay you to stay here.
