Yes the breakfast was fresh. The room was great, however, the ceiling needed to be painted as it was cracked and looked like paint chips would start falling any minute. You saw the kitchen staff refilling the breakfast items. The front desk when we checked in had to wait on them to come up from the back room.

Ms Cassandra at the front desk is amazing! I had a minor issue with my room initially, and she fixed it immediately. The room itself was clean, bed comfortable, AC worked great, but Ms Cassandra really made it a wonderful stay after a very long drive!

The main issue is the shower has an inch of a drop off on the shower floor right where you exit, which seems very dangerous. Everything else was just so unkept. The breakfast was good, but the staff didn’t clean up as people left so the area was a mess. The staff was helpful, but not friendly by any means. That kind of a thing.

Its a very basic no frills hotel in the industrial part of Raleigh but close to downtown. Very little amenities nearby. The breakfast is decent. Rooms were clean but bit noisy between the rooms. Ok for a night or two stay. the washer was not working properly during my stay
