Lovely stay!

We had such a good time staying over a weekend! Hotel is in a very good, convenient, central location in the middle of Reading with the train station, bus stops, restaurants, and shops very close to the hotel. Our favourite part of the trip was the free access to gym/pool/sauna/steam room - we had so much fun, the pool is a fantastic size with a few sun loungers around it. We parked at the Broad Street Mall car park (short walk away) - lots of spaces and the hotel gives a discounted rate when you give them the ticket at checkout. Excited to come back!

No sleep as they have a night club across the road playing extremely loud music until 3am And as an added bonus the fire alarm went of at 7.40 am for 30 minutes with no fire in sight ! No compensation offered

Very bad stay, avoid!

I came to the property for my birthday and didn’t get a greeting, Was asked to produce ID which I have never been asked before. There was a broken light with made a loud noise without interruption. The plumbing in the bathroom seems dodgy and broken, the bath didn’t leave the water I had to stay over and try to make the water go down the pipes. There was a lot of dust in the room and it seems it has not been cleaned since person was in the room. There was holes in the sofa.

Property is handy and clean. Our room unfortunately was facing Friar street and we had to leave windows open for cooling as A/C didn’t seem to be doing anything. Constant job bub from the street below especially between 11pm - 1am. Very convenient location otherwise.
