We have been coming to this location for probably 10 years, because we live in San Diego and my husband‘s children and grandchildren are in Redding and Shasta, California. The staff is always courteous, the rooms are always impeccable, and they’re at breakfast spread is fabulous! Kudos to D, Jason, Joyce )who appears to be an energizer bunny), and I believe the other front desk person was Jennifer? All of them seem to enjoy their jobs, and make the guest feel special.

Our mattress was extremely hard, almost like sleeping on the floor. The pillows folded in half and stacked together were still like sleeping with less than one. So much noise from the toad we may have been sleeping parked off the ride of the road. When we tried to check into our room card key wouldn't work. Had to get staff with master key to open door. We asked to move after they suggested they send someone to fix our door. This place isn't full occupancy so should have offered to move us .

Check in was quick and easy. staff was very kind (we were exhausted after 11 hours of driving). Room was clean and comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was easy to access and had plenty of options.

The area around this Best Western isn't very appealing, yet I felt very welcome and safe once inside. The lobby and front desk clerks were excellent! My only complaint is that the apple I chose for breakfast was rotten. Despite it's being nicely wrapped in plastic, as all the apples were, some of it collapsed in my hand as I gave it a squeeze. I took one bite and immediately wished I hadn't. I promptly threw the rest away.
