Mike and the staff at The Yankee Clipper are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast is wonderful and served in the dining room that looks out at the water. The grounds are lovely and many rooms have a deck to enjoy the view.

This hotel is clean, quiet and beautiful. It’s right on the water and our room had a balcony we could sit on. Each guest gets a made to order breakfast each morning seated in the dining room with beautiful views. I would choose to stay there again.

The Inn is sooo peaceful and the property is old New England charm. Bathrooms are updated, bedrooms still has an older charm look to it. Breakfast area overlooks the garden and bay which is absolute stunning. Staff at check-in and breakfast waitress were welcoming at all time.I will definitely we back.

It was super great location for my birding trip. I haven’t met anyone from stuff, key from my room was left at the desk when I arrived and I left it there when I was leaving. Breakfast was included in my stay but time of it was incredibly inconvenient- 8:30 till 10. I was leaving my room before 7 all four days I stayed there. No microwave in room, but coffee maker was there, thank goodness.

Our stay at the Yankee Clipper about 2 weeks before Christmas was awesome. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean, only one thing, the room was on the 3rd floor, which was hard for me because I don’t do stairs well. Next time I’ll ask for the 2nd floor. I would definitely recommend going to Bearskin Neck during the holidays, there were horse drawn carriages, carollers and many little shops. We had a lot fun, will be coming back, for sure

Away From It All

Very nice property and location. It definitely had an old-school, quiet feel to it. I would've liked a small fridge and microwave in the room, instead of the one shared on the 2nd floor. Also, I didn't see, when booking, that there were stairs and no elevator. The staff were all very friendly.

My 64th Birthday stay. We arrived on Wednesday, I watched the Sunrise on Thursday morning- my Birthday. Breakfast, included in our stay, was wonderful! I decided to rest by the pool and enjoy the beauty of my surroundings. THEN the Lawn Guys arrived- weed whackers, blowers- SO LOUD!! I went back to my Room - the Smoke Detectors, ALL 3 were BEEPING!! NEXT, at 3pm- the Locksmith arrives! Drilling and BANGING the Front Door, steps away from my Room!! I mentioned this to the Manager, at Check Out, the next day. His response- Thursday's are Maintenance Days. OMG!! Thanks for the heads up! So much for my quiet, relaxing Birthday!! UGH Some compensation would have been appreciated- chocolates work. They Sell them in the Lobby - oh well, Customer Service helps.

The management & staff were exceptional in every sense of the word. Everyone was attentive, helpful, professional & courteous. Actually they were a fun group. The only situation we were uncomfortable with concerned the rate of decent of the stairs leading to our room. That being said the view from the room made it worth while. We will definately return but request a rppm on the main lodge. EAD
