While the hotel is very clean and the rooms are nicely presented, there are significant issues with soundproofing. During our stay, maintenance work was being carried out, and the noise began as early as 7:30am each day. Despite being on the fourth floor, it felt as though the work was happening directly beneath us. Additionally, the sound from the busy main road at the front of the hotel was quite intrusive — at times, it felt like the windows were open. Overall, although the room was spacious and well-maintained, the lack of effective sound insulation made for a less-than-relaxing stay. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

This hotel is 20 min walk from Colosseum and 18 min from Roma termini. Rooms are spacious, excellent breakfast (the best we had in our trip to Italy), lots of food and dining options nearby (an Indian food restaurant opposite to the hotel), we really had a great time. We stayed for 3 nights and it was very enjoyable.

Great stay overall but a bit further from main attractions and the area is a bit limited in terms of dining and shopping. The hotel also started construction during our stay which we were not notified of.

We had two rooms that were next to each other, one with 2beds and 1 with 3 for our granddaughters. The daily breakfast was15 euros and a very good variety of food. The desk was very helpful answering questions and arrangements for rides. Definitely recommend it!

We chose the breakfast buffet for most of the days of our stay. Federico was the host. Every morning he was so friendly and welcoming. A great way to start off our daily adventures. The buffet was good with a wide variety of options.

Fantastic Stay at Best Western Hotel President!

I had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Hotel President! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to iconic landmarks like the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain. Being so close to the metro made getting around the city incredibly easy and convenient. The staff were exceptional—friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area, always ready with great recommendations. I tried the hotel breakfast once, which was good, but I loved starting my mornings at a nearby café with a delicious outdoor cappuccino experience. Another highlight was a fantastic gelato stand just around the corner—absolutely worth a visit! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rome. It truly made my trip even more enjoyable!
