We had to book this hotel last minute because our original hotel we booked was awful. The Splendide exceeded all of my expectations! The staff was absolutely incredible and helpful, the hotel itself was top notch! Super clean, comfortable and safe. Definitely will stay again.

Everything was great but do check the cost of the mini bar and snacks first. About 8 to 10 times more expensive than if you buy at a store. Typically most hotels run 3 to 5 times more expensive.

Really smashing team, always courteous and incredibly helpful. Lovely rooms with well appointed bathrooms and supply of toiletries. Only improvement that could be made to room would be the inclusion of tea and coffee making facility (though the room had the best stocked mini bar I’ve seen in a while). Hotel location was good - close enough to walk to principal sights but far enough to feel calm and quiet. Good eating options nearby too. Don’t miss a sundowner in the hotel’s rooftop cocktail lounge looking out over Rome.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests with professional diligence. We also had a wonderful dinner at Mirabelle on property. Conveniently located within reasonable walking distance from the Colosseum, the Vatican, and Spanish Steps. Hotel Splendide was not just a place to stay, but a wonderful experience.

J’ai vraiment aimé cet hôtel….par contre, en arrivant le lobby est très anciens et pour mon goût, donne pas bonne impression….ca l’air vraiment vieux….j’avais un peu peur pour notre chambre mais heureusement nous étions dans la nouvelle section qui est très grande et magnifique! Notre chambre et salle de bain étaient spacieuses et très propres….rooftop de toute beauté…déjeuner très bon et service impeccable!

Defo Not a 5 Star - You’ll be disappointed

Hotel was ok, breakfast very poor and no mention of needing long trousers on the booking site or hotel information which meant we couldn’t attend the Roof Top Bar, and another restaurant. Only reason I booked this was for the Roof Top and being a 5 Star Hotel - which it definitely wasn’t. The Carpet on the step down to Breakfast was manky and ripped/frayed on the edge which made it a trip hazard!!!

The hotel was spotless and the staff were very nice. When we arrived there was a woman screaming in the lobby. Additionally the gym was new yet had a must order and down in the basement. It was called a spa yet not a spa. Breakfast beautiful and delicious as was the night lounge upstairs

I only rate this hotel a B because I have stayed at their sister hotel in Paris an it is an amazing property with A+ services. And I certainly believe they could do better! Although this property is beautiful, the service is not consistent. The gentlemen who work the front desk are attentive and welcoming but the women are not. That said, I had a good stay and enjoyed the ambiance at Adele.
