The location is absoutely perfect! A short walk to two train stations (The B or the A) and to major landmarks (Trevo Fountain, Colesseum...). Staff was friendly and I appreciated the extra security of leaving your key at reception every time you left the hotel. As a solo traveler, this was important. The room was perfect size for 1 person, might be a little tight for two. I was offered an upgrade but my original room had a balcony and I wasn't willing to part with it. It was worth it! I had breakfast on my little terazza almost every morning, and it offered a respite in the afternoons to recharge and get my bearings before heading out again. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the hotel could use some maintenance and the shower is ::tiny:: I also didn't have any control over the HVAC unit, so if it was too hot I had to crack open the balcony doors which I didn't want to do while I was sleeping. Other than that, this is a great place to stay and explore Rome.

Hotel Verona was a great hotel and ideally situated within walking distance of the main attractions. Rooms were very clean with a good breakfast and hotel staff were very helpful with any questions you may have. There are numerous restaurants close by and Trevi Fountain is an approximate 15min walk away with lots of shopping and cafes. I would definitely stay at Hotel Verona again. Would recommend. Location is good, walking distance to attractions. Staff is very friendly. AC is available in room. Small elevator stops between each floor, so you have to take the luggage to walk for few stairs.
