Perfect for our large group

We needed a large property to accommodate 18 adults who were in the area for a local college graduation. We decided to extend the weekend an extra day to enjoy the area. The house was perfect. We were a bit confused about the layout description initially but once we got there, it made sense and it readily accommodated all of us. The open floor plan with a large dining table next to the open kitchen made cooking and dining a breeze. The bedrooms were all spacious enough and the beds were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms on the second floor were an unusual layout but they ended up working out fine. The area was beautiful. We were able to explore a brewery and a winery and would like to go back some time to see more of the area. The outside area of the home was delightful to sit and take in the beautiful lake view.The host answered all of our questions in a timely manner. If you’re looking for a property to accommodate a large group of mixed ages and families, this is it. Everyone enjoyed their stay and made it a point to thank me for finding the perfect place for all of us.

A fantastic lake rental!

This house was awesome!! The space was perfect for our weekend with the multiple levels. The game room was our favorite and we got so excited over the ice machine -- that was a nice surprise! Def would stay here again!

A Great Birthday Party

The Lakeview Lodge was just what we needed for a weekend birthday celebration with a large family group. We needed the large number of bedrooms, and having adequate space on both the main level and lower level was important, since we had cool weather and much of our time was spent indoors. The owner was very accommodating and we had no problems checking in or out. Everyone had a great time.

Great overall experience!

Overall an amazing house. Perfect for what we needed, having our wedding party and their significant others together in such a beautiful location was perfect. The only small thing we noted: one of the bedrooms is a loft, which may not be ideal for everyone.

great location, lovely home

We had a wonderful and the house is well set up for lots of people to enjoy it together. The only problem we had is that we were asked to report any issues and we were unable to report that neither grill was working. We found the communications system between host and guests extremely awkward. Other than that, we had a great time and would recommend.

Good stay, mediocre experience

The place was wonderful. The host was good at getting back to us. The host was not very helpful for local things to do. Unfortunately since we have left we have had not such a good experience. We were charged for towels that had stains on them (supposedly couldn't get make up stains out?). We have also been charged for breaking a ladder that was already broken when we got there. We were also blamed for burn marks on their deck which was from the neighbours setting off fireworks (they have since retracted that). All in all its a nice place to stay with a large family but not a great experience since we left

Pleasant stay on the lake

Plenty of bedrooms. Wish living room larger and more seating. Ample outdoor accommodations for large party. Needs second zone for ac. Basement unusable as at least ten degrees cooler than main living areas. Wi-Fi didn’t work, but we didn’t need it. Overall, very nice place for a family retreat. We enjoyed it.

Large lake home

This lake house is very spacious and well appointed. The beds are decent and the outside areas are very nice too. We stayed over a long weekend and had family ages 6 months to 82 years old staying with us. Everyone had a great time and loved the house! He location is close enough to a larger town that I got grocery delivery with ease, and only a 30-40 minute easy drive to Seneca Lake. Very nice for a large group!

Retreat House

This was our 2nd time using this house for a women’s retreat. We simply love the lakeside location and all of the beautiful views it affords. It’s truly peaceful. One if the best parts about this property is that there are so many single bedrooms. It’s ideal for adults who want to be able to have their own bedroom. While the house is lovely and very comfortable, it could use a little upkeep. Upstairs bathroom could use a new shower head, some of the blinds needed fixing, and the bedrooms could all use bedside lamps.

Beautiful House on an Even More Beautiful Lake

Stayed here with a total of 17 adults and children. We were nervous about only having 5 bathrooms but it turned out to not be an issue at all. Everything about the house was cozy and convenient. We did have an issue with gnats and beetles one day - but it seemed to be a one off incident due to the unseasonably warm weather.

We had a amazing time at this house celebrating my best friends bachelorette! The weather was perfect enough to enjoy the lake in mid September! House was very spacious and near the town if you wanted to do a winery, Cidery or brewery. Thank you so much!

Great location and place for family reunion

This place was well laid out for 6 couples and 6 individuals (18 people) so that all had a room. We loved the various outdoor spaces for congregating - dock, firepit, tables with umbrellas and the deck off the main floor - all with plenty of seating. We put the 2 picnic tables together so all could eat together outside. The kitchen is very well equipped. The extra ice maker is a bonus. Things to expect that are less than ideal: a/c is very variable between floors and specific rooms; there are not reading lights next to the beds; the towels are cheap (bring your own if you like something thicker and that would cover you ); no guidebook to have all relevant information centralized (how remotes work with TV, WiFi password, opening & closing procedures, any laundry room procedures, recommended restaurants, etc). We would rent this place again for a family reunion.
