The room was very nice but lighting was extremely poor. The Riverwalk view was unremarkable as the hotel is located at the end of the Riverwalk, the windows are very small and there are no balconies. The staff does the absolute minimum not to get fired. The vibe we got from everyone of the staff was we were a bother to them and just wanted to be done with us. Valte staff was very nice though. I guess unless you're specifically trying to work for a tip at this hotel, you don't want to be there.

This is our second time staying. We enjoy the location which is on the river walk but is far enough away from the central area that is busy. More quiet by hotel contessa. The valet and bell hops are so polite and maje sure you are prepared and get the help you need.

Hotel Contessa is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Convenient to everything in the downtown area, it is impeccably clean with a friendly, helpful staff. Stayed right before Thanksgiving and the hotel lobby was decorated beautifully for the holiday season.
