Unfortunately, I have to give 1 star due to numerous requests for room cleaning; it was not done. asked to speak to the manager he was not available and was given an email address. Emailed twice without any response. Here is the email that was sent on 10/27 to Ouriostegui. "I am writing to follow up on the room service issue we experienced during our stay in Room 512, which my colleague KQureshi outlined in her email on October 27, 2025. As of today, we have not received any communication from your team, nor has a refund or compensation been processed for the inconvenience caused by the lack of daily housekeeping. We kindly request an update on this matter. If we do not hear back regarding a resolution, we will, unfortunately, have to dispute the charges for our stay and proceed with completing our review based on our experience."

Stayed for 7 nights and they only cleaned my room 4 times. I had to order my order my own towels every night they didn’t clean my room. The carpet in my room had stains, the restroom has stains, the bathroom has no extractor and the water would squirt everywhere in the bathtub floors and sink. Do not stay here the house keeping manager did not take my request Seriously and one of the workers gave me the most confusing excuse that it happened due to the language barrier which makes absolutely no sense. There is absolutely no excuse from the hotel for the reason being of not cleaning my room every single day. I am completely diss appointed this ruined my stay coming late and tired from the theme parks with no clean towels or the trash taken. this is unacceptable. also the light mirror was dirty and burned

I love Hotel Zessa and can’t say enough good things about it - the staff is incredibly friendly, the property is very clean, and the covered garage is a big plus. The shower pressure is excellent too, and the chocolate walnut cookies are bonus! We feel safe staying here and really enjoy how convenient the location is, with easy access to Newport and Laguna beaches, as well as Santa Ana and Irvine.

We were violated at this hotel. I understand that it was a holiday and management was not there to review the cameras. I was told that only the manager and front desk manager had access to the cameras. After over a dozen requests, the hotel manager via another employee told me he did not see anything in the cameras. Either I was lied to before that as to who has access to the cameras or the hotel manager lied to me. He wouldn’t even come to the counter and speak to me face-to-face. He made an employee get off of the walkie-talkie so he could talk to them on their personal cell phone. This leads me to believe I was lied to. Without information from the cameras, we were not able to contact the police. This hotel does not take your safety and security as a priority. I am the one authorized by my company for corporate travel for over 40 people. We will never ever have staff stay at another Hilton hotel or a Doubletree hotel. Safety is upmost importance in this place lacks.
