convenient for the Camino

Bathroom was private but unvented. Could have used a little more furniture in the room (room for 3, 3 beds and only 1-2 chairs and a tiny desk. Otherwise clean and convenient for the Camino de Santiago. Bar-cafe downstairs and available laundry service (but not really cheap).

Camino Trip

This was the first night of my Camino, accommodation was basic but everything I needed. The only issue was the cockerels squawking during the night which didn’t aid a good sleep. It was a good starting location for the Camino as you literally turn out the door and you’re on the Camino leaving Sarria.

The room was great for the price. The only downside was the breakfast. Staff had no idea what a vegetarian is much less vegan. Yes, I asked in Spanish. Very little to eat that healthy. There was unwashed fruit on the buffet and some juices.

The property is clean and in the middle of everything. Free parking on street. Restaurants everywhere. The two bad issues - hair dryer did not work and there is no thermostat to turn heater on as it became cold in the middle of the night. I had to get up and wear my jacket in bed. However, the property is good for the price I paid. I only stayed one night to start my Camino. A good place to start!

Morgens das Personal war sehr freundlich, war wohl die Chefin selbst . Ich war zu früh, was aber nicht schlimm. Abendessen war einigermaßen. Burger war gut , Pommes hätten ruhig länger gekonnt , waren noch roh . Was mir besonders gut gefiel, war das es im Zimmer warm war . Bei dauer regen Tat das gut . Morgens beim Check out gab es kurz Probleme ( die Annahme ich hätte noch nicht bezahlt) Personal abends hatte es wohl nicht vermerkt . Konnte schnell geklärt werden und das Personal entschuldigte sich mehrmals.
