Minor hiccup, but overall, great

The room is clean and comfortable. It is quiet. Pleased with the room. However, there were wall attachment bottles of hair and body wash in the shower, the body wash was empty and there was no soap provided for the sink. It is concerning when you are in the middle of a shower. Just check for these things before you get in the shower.

My husband and I do not pay a lot for hotels when we travel. We usually just want someplace to lay our heads because we spend little to no time on the property. Lux Verde met our needs just fine. It was responsibly priced with breakfast included…a perfect combo for a couple of hikers.With that being said, the property is in need of some attention! There was nothing major, but the little things add up. The pool was not open. The fire pit had no gas. Our faucet was so loose I thought it was going to come off. The waffle maker was broken the entire time we were there. The same breakfast of scrambled eggs and sausage was served the entire 5 days we were there. So if you’re looking for any luxury or amenities, this is probably not your place, but with a little attention, it could be just right for someone who needs someplace to crash at the end of a busy day.

We tried to call down to the main desk to ask a question and no one would answer the phone. If you stay on a busy weekend and want their breakfast the breakfast area is small and they have one coffee maker that does take some time. There was a line for coffee in the morning. The room was nice and it was clean. The fridge made a lot of noise, but not horrible. It was quiet and I felt safe for not knowing the area. The pizza place right down the street was great and all the shops were super close.

I loved this place! So many times the room is run down but here everything was clean and in new condition. The king bed was wonderful. The person running the breakfast was attentive and helpful. Great place, decent price.

When we enter in our room, we noticed that bed sheets are covered with hairs. I saw 3 hair ball on one bed and 2 on other. I saw one staff had a dog and he didn’t pickup after his dog dumped just in front of our room. I know he is staff as he gave us towels after sometime on request.
