Excellent 5* hotel, we will definitely be coming back. We had such a lovely holiday and all of the staff are lovely, they made our wedding anniversary so special. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more - it is a hidden gem.

Beautiful property, and the terrace was the best view in Sorrento. The nightly sunset views were breathtaking. The onsite restaurant offers delicious and elegant meals, one of our favorite dishes was the tagliolini with pawns and brown butter sauce.The hotel staff were nice and attentive. Our room was perfect with a lovely balcony where we could wind down in the evening after a day of adventures. Conveniently located, 5 minute walk, to center of town for shopping and dining.

Hotel Grand Royal in Sorrento!

This hotel is outstanding!! Beautiful property. Has lounge chairs and service at water area with lift to get there. Wonderful breakfast. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed, steps to the Piazza Tasso. I highly recommend!

Everything was great. Very high end hotel and very well maintained. The grounds and views were outstanding. One small suggestion would be to put felt on the bottom of the chairs in the guest rooms. The rooms all have beautiful tile floors, but when another guest above or beside you moves their chair, it makes a very loud noise like scratching your nails on a chalk board….

Grand Hotel Royal exceeded our expectations. Even before we arrived, the level of customer care and was exceptional. They gave us a gift and handwritten note for our anniversary which was a thoughtful touch. We had a problem with our toilet that was not able to be repaired so they swiftly moved us to a different room. They arranged round trip Naples train station transportation and when the ferry to Positano was unexpectedly cancelled, they saved the day and arranged a driver to take us.The hotel is walking distance to everything- shopping, ferry, sights and dining. The room & bathroom were spacious and immaculate with daily toiletries and water. The breakfast room is lovely, overlooking the serene gardens, and the breakfast had great variety. We highly recommend Grand Hotel Royal and plan to return!

Hotel was beautifully appointed and the view looking out at Mt. Vesuvius was spectacular. The staff were so accommodating, especially in the restaurant. The only negative was the Spa experience. No relaxation room, just the room that you have your treatment in. I would highly recommend this 5 Star property in Sorrento.
