The room is big and cosy. All little things have been thought of. We have a good sleep and the beds are comfortable. Also walking distance to the town centre and restaurants. The park next to it is a plus.

Great place to stay if you have a cruise trip - you can walk over to the cruise terminal. We had a room with a separate loft bed. The room also had full cooking facilities.

Dirty floor room

The hotel was nice and to have a full kitchen was very good for stay with kids. My only and sad complaint is about the cleanliness. The room was not properly cleaned - dirty floor, next day after checking I left the room to be cleaned as the floor was so so dirty, very easily to see the dust that I still can’t believe it wasn’t cleaned!! but they didn’t clean the floor and the table. They just made a bed a cleaned the bathroom. I had a baby walking around- it was very bad.

Mixed stay - but good location.

Online check in was annoying as after completing it said would get email explaining where to get key! Finally after contacting property they had a reception so it was wrong! Had major issue with no cold water in shower-choice was boiling or steam.. Housekeeping advised it was a known issue, I learnt through burnt hands and no shower. Was given a free coffee as apology.

Super comfortable and lovely stay

Great stat for the one night. Stayed while visiting for the Southampton marathon and the place was great, room was clean and spacious with all amenities provided. Made use of all facilities in room and nothing we needed was missing. Had a wonderful night sleep in a super comfortable bed, and what makes it even better is that they are dog friendly and our little companion seemed to love it too

We stayed one night before departing on a cruise. Nice room, actually a studio apartment, was more than we needed. Quiet at night and.comfortable bed. Café was under renovation, but the White Star Cafe is two blocks away and great for lunch and breakfast. Plenty of historical sights to see within walking distance.

The location to the Princess Cruise ship terminal is really close. The rooms are sound proofed and the beds are comfortable. GRACE is exceptional. She will make you feel welcome, and go out of her way to make sure that your stay is great. We had to run the water in the bathroom for 15 minutes before hot water got to the room. (417) There were a few things that we overlooked but overall, it was comfortable, and affordable, and nothing remarkable overall. We would stay again.

The hotel and staff were excellent. Especially Grace who was amazing. The hotel felt like it was run by friends and family. The room was cosy and really homely. We will definitely be returning soon.

Pretty gross, shame really

Room smelt and the floor was dirty and sticky, your feet literally stuck to the floor like it had been mopped with pva glue and dirty water… pretty gross, didn’t want to walk without shoes in the room. The kids mezzanine bed had a death ladder to reach it, not suitable for anyone under age of 6, cafe was shut for renovation so had ‘breakfast in a bag’ for £9 each person which was a pastry, coco pops, little apple and orange juice, bit crap.
