Great location and view from private patio. The inn is basic but nice enough and clean. The lobby is cute with view of waterway. Close proximity to downtown and all the action in this quaint city. Manager was very unpleasant. She barely acknowledged us each day and offered no conversation or suggestions to our staying here. Breakfast is cereal, bread to toast and bananas. Casserole was same each day , cheese and meat. But it’s free so it helped save money. we were so uncomfortable with the manager who served breakfast that we stopped going after 3 days of unprofessional behavior.

Great spot on the water.

Perfect for what we needed, great views, fabulous staff and an easy walk to the town meant we could leave the car behind. An older style motel, but the welcome, breakfast, evening wine were wonderful.

This place fits the vibe of Saint Augustine perfectly. Bed was very comfortable with a nice view of the bridge. Breakfast was easy and quick and I didn’t have to wait for it to be packed up and be on my way. Also the staff was very helpful with where I could park on the other side of the bridge along with some recommendations on where to go eat and have a drink at.

Sunsets for Days!

It is in a beautiful location overlooking the old town of St. Augustine. The facility is moderately outdated, but the view and the hospitality of the staff outweigh that. I will come back again and again! The happy hour and breakfast were cute and quaint. My children loved to watch the birds and dolphins. A short walk over the bridge to the fort, restaurants, and shopping!

We enjoyed our stay at the Edgewater Inn. It was close to the music venue and walking distance to a couple of bars. It was also peaceful being right on the water. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is just super! The place is not, thankfully, like a big chain hotel. The breakfast was great, it is just off the beaten path, the walk to town across the bridge is easy, and the happy hour at the end of the day was very nice. Our host, Rick, was most helpful with dining suggestions and tourists hints. If you would like a bit of an old fashioned place -- this is for you! I would definitely stay there agin.

Loved the view overlooking the bay. The beds were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was very nice. All pillows were very soft. I loved them. My husband prefers more firm pillows. The floor in our room was filthy. Gritty, it felt like it hadn’t been swept, vacuumed or mopped.

Hidden gem in Saint Augustine. Very nice little place with an amazing view of the bridge. Quiet because it is in the other side of the bridge but the distance is walkable. Staff were very friendly and nice. Complimentary breakfast and happy hour was excellent.

Welcoming place in a great location

The room was updated and very clean. We loved having a patio on the water. It is a close walk to the historic area and had free onsite parking. The hot breakfast was great. And we loved the happy hour wine and snacks.
