It was a great hotel and terrific location, well-kept, comfy bed & room, nice bathroom & shower. Liked my room on high floor with view faving out front & looking up to Oxford Street. Breakfast buffet very fresh. ample, well-stocked, with lots of options including healthy choices. Nice coffee machine. Good hours. Very Pleasant, caring, professional and helpful staff, accommodating (gave me a late checkout when I asked). Only complaint was rude floor neighbors my first night stay (stayed 2 nights) who talked loudly in hall at late hour 2AM and kept letting their doors slam going in & out. Fortunately they checked out the next morning so it was nice and quiet the next night for sleeping.

The Best of Sydney

The Song Hotel, along with the Song Kitchen, has been the brightest spot in this otherwise mediocre city. The staff is great – friendly and helpful. The management must be doing something right because the staff all seem happy. The food has been better than virtually all of the neighboring restaurants. Their social goals are admirable, and they don’t interfere with providing hotel customers with the best experience. I’m not sure I would recommend going to Sydney, but if you do, stay at the Song.

We were met by very friendly staff upon arrival-an important start. We only wanted to drop our bags off, but were advised that our room would be available in twenty minutes, so we went next doot to the Song Kitchen for a coffee. The room was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. Following a quality sleep, we enjoyed the complimentary buffet breakfast. Overall, staying at the Song Hotel was a great decision.

Second stay at Song and would return again. Great location, easy walk from Museum train station. Rooms are modern and clean. Included buffet breakfast includes the usual hotel fare and was quite tasty.

This hotel is located in a good location to visit all areas of the city by walking or public transit. Room was kept clean on a daily basis and Dale at the front desk was always very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was sufficient. If you are looking for a hotel with a great location and great price don’t hesitate to book.

Song hotel sits on the edge of Hyde Park and an easy walk to museums, parks and the train station. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean. Good breakfast and a limited but good menu for lunch and dinner. I would recommend staying here.
