The room was clean and comfortable with helpful staff but the hotel lobby, unlike all others, was cramped with few places to sit. Decor is dated and the lift rather like a cosy cupboard fit for two. Despite these somewhat negative observations it is a pleasant place to stay close to the station and ferries.

The staff was friendly and great service. Breakfast buffet was mainly traditional Japanese and was excellent. The room was a little tired with some peeling wallpaper and it smelled of smoke when I first arrived (non-smoking room). The cleaning service was good and we received fresh towels every day.
