Very comfortable, clean rooms. Nice bathroom. Good view. Professional staff. A variety of food nearby. Japanese garden is a huge plus. My only complaint is that the rooms were very stuffy. This was in late March, on a 72 degree day and there was no air conditioning. Upon contacting the front desk we were instructed to call room service. They told us to turn off the heater, which wasn't circulating air at all. Our room was about 78 degrees which felt intolerable since there was no air circulation at all. If you are driving, parking can be a bit confusing. Overall, still a good experience but I don't know if I would stay again.

Overall I really enjoyed our time at the Hotel New Otani Tokyo Garden Tower. The location is central so it was very easy to take the train here after a day of touring Tokyo with a short walk from the Akasaka Misuke Station over a bridge directly to the hotel entrance. The gardens were very beautiful and a nice place to hang out to wait for your room to be ready. I really liked walking around the neighborhood with the narrow cobblestone streets filled with restaurants, bars and shops. And there is a mall filled with restaurants, a great coffee shop and a small market directly across the street. The rooms were a bit dated and worn, but they were comfortable, clean and quiet and it was really nice to have an adjoining room with the kids. Everyone working at the hotel was very helpful and kind.

This hotel was so comfortable and inviting. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. There are tons of amenities close by and easy access to main subway lines to get around. We stayed for a week during peak tourist season and it didn’t feel like we were constantly caught in the scramble of people. The garden also added a nice relaxing atmosphere to the space and allowed for easy decompression from the city hustle.

Overall the Hotel New Otani was a fabulous place to stay. The restaurants were excellent and the breakfast buffet offered a grest variety. The staff went out of their way to help - even more than one would expect. They went the extra mile. The gardens and hotel were beautiful - the room superb. If we might make one suggestion - please have at least one waiter or waitress who really understands English. Our lone problem was the result of our inability to make our order clear. The manager of the Garden Cafe however made good our concern and went the extra step to make us happy. The bellmen were fabulous. Overall we'd recommend the hotel. It is also centrally located. The limo to Narita was a blessing. Again thank you. One last item. There was confusion over the room we thought we booked. The manager made it right. Although a frustrated first few moments turned out well.
