You get what you pay for. It was very basic, but it was clean, safe, and in an excellent location within easy walking distance of all the major sights in Toronto. You could hear other guests coming into their rooms and having a shower, and I was also not sure why the manager did not allow me to check in when I arrived an hour earlier than I should have, but I suppose she was within her right not to; I would also have preferred a full duvet cover rather than a simple sheet. But ultimately I only needed a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom and shower, and to be in convenient location in central Toronto, and that is precisely what I got, so I cannot complain.

Solo in Toronto for 3 nights

Very basic accommodations. On the edge of Chinatown, it offers a wide range of dining options and nightlife, and is in walking distance to nearly everything in Toronto, in addition to being a block from the Dundas trolly line. Property consists of 3 (I think) brownstone type buildings. I stayed in #33, which seems to have been recently renovated. It was very clean, and the room was spacious for one person. The room did not have any glasses, but did have a small fridge and a microwave. Not many flat surface areas to put things, no bedtable, etc. But still, the value was absolutely there given the price of hotels in Toronto. There is no parking on site, but plenty of lots nearby. I would absolutely stay here again.

It was a convenient location for us. Stayed with my husband and daughter Very clean in the unit. Just a bit shady from the outside. No frills to this place but had everything we needed for a one night stay. Just a fair warning…the beds in our unit were VERY, VERY, VERY firm. Also air conditioning was not very efficient. They do have a large fan in the room that helped.

If you just need a place to sleep near downtown in chinatown with walking distance to grocery and restaurants also convenient public transportation, this is it. For its price in the area, I’d prefer to stay here again than other hotels.. bed, bathroom, microwave and fridge is all i need.. the neighbours noise can be tolerated and no elevator so if you’re bringing a 20kg luggage, you’d have to carry that on a 10-15 steps stairs that is quite tight.. room size is decent for solo travellers, very thankful for the electric fan in the room and i must mention how staff was very helpful and friendly on check-in. It was pretty late too and i was accompanied to my room. I’ll definitely stay here again next time~

From the outside place looks not so great, but inside was awesome, really clean and room was nice. Within minutes you have good restaurants and grocery stores; is you want a place to stay in Toronto, with frugality, this is the place!!

The room was nice and clean, loved the area, very close and walkable to lots of places. Safe and quiet street with a nice park close by. Staff didn’t give us more towels for 4 days when said they would. Wifi didn’t work half the days, mini fridge couldn’t be used because it smelled bad. No parking on street, has to park a block away in public underground parking. Other than that was a nice stay there and would probably stay again.

Das Zimmer war nicht sauber , noch Haare vom vorgänger.Zimmer war 2 x 2,5 m mit kleinem Fensterchen zum Flur im Kellerbereich. Gemeinschaftsbad mit 2 anderen Räumen und schmutzig .Die Räume waren im Keller , im Flur Waschmaschinen. Preis / Leistung nicht im verhältnis , zu teuer .Ich empfehle es nicht weiter. War sehr entäuscht .
