Been here before, will be again. Very rustic feel and the hotel bar is great! I liked it even more when I heard someone fell through the roof. 11/10. Just to clarify the roof thing here, the person was not supposed to be on the roof, it has no reflection on the safety of this establishment. I just thought that was a pretty rock and roll thing to happen on st Patrick’s day adding to the character of the place. Thanks!

If you are going to try to have a good night slepp and rest, this is not the place. They have a bar which is part of the hotel which wont allow you to rest. I spent until 2 am when the bar close tobe able to rest. The music was so loud that that I feel the vibrations of the bass in the walls of my room.

Great room and location for the price. It was quiet but we could hear the subway below ground. I should also note we stayed on a Sunday when the pub upstairs was nearly empty. It's busy on weekends, with students, and the room (104) is situated along a walkway.

We really enjoyed our stay. Yes its an older building but that is the charm of it. The staf or both the hotel and pub were knowledgeable and very friendly. We will be staying hear again.

Pleasant Stay, but Some Areas for Improvement The building itself is well-kept and has a lot of character, maintaining the charm of its historic design. However, the age of the property and some hard-to-reach areas in the rooms raised concerns about cleanliness, especially with the large carpets throughout that seem difficult to maintain. Additionally, the bathroom tub faucet was not functioning, though the shower worked fine—this seemed like it might have been intentionally shut off, which was a bit inconvenient. The check-in process was smooth and handled efficiently at the adjacent pub, which was a unique and welcoming touch. However, clear checkout instructions were missing—they weren’t posted at the main entrance or proactively mentioned during check-in, which caused some confusion. Overall, it’s a charming stay in a great location, but a few maintenance and communication improvements would make it even better.
