The location of the property is fine. The rooms are very old and don’t look clean, because it is just so old, it is hard to get it clean. Hence the price of the room is too high for this quality.

Needs a face-lift

Hotel gives an appearance of being somewhat worn-out and out-dated. Building (especially the part facing the parking-lot) could definitely do with a face-lift. Carpet and wall-paper needs to be renewed, and several light-bulps in the overhead lighting was not in use; giving the entrance/foyer a very gloomy look. Service was ok.

don’t go here

terrible. being the only hotel around is the reason, this site still exists. from run down furniture to questionable water in the rooms further on to non existing service. best i can say? being on a cycling trip it was the only option on the route and i choosed knowingly. but still, if you have the choice, sleep somewhere else.

Three nice days in Vordingborg

Very nice persons. From Receptionist to cleaning. Not the newste interior, but remember this is not a five star hotel. This is valye for mone. Central close to evrything. Breakfeast is good

Average hotel with no bar or restaurant anymore. There is no laundry service if you need stay here for a longer period on business. Nice location next to the castle and there are plenty of decent restaurants nearby. There are supermarkets as well a few minutes walk away.

Great location , just across from the 'Goose tower' ...Friendly staff...nice covered outdoor patio...great parking in the back..nice breakfast buffet ….and room was fine..no complaints..and a great Italian restaurant next door.. we would for sure stay there again

Drains reeked of mould

Although we were given a secure lock-up for our bicycles and a good breakfast, the hotel was disappointing. The bathroom sink drained into the shower drain and the constant foul smell of mould was really worrying. Also of concern was that the shower water was not too hot without the addition of cold water; did this mean that the hot water tanks were not heated hot enough to prevent Legionnaires Disease ? As a comparison, tonight we are staying in a hotel 30 KMS away, paying a similar price, but with tea and coffee facilities in a room which is clean and fresh smelling.

Ett spännande hotell, vi var i behov av övernattning efter lång bilkörning genom Tyskland. Det dyraste hotellet under hela vår resa runt i Tyskland och Frankrike. Det var också det mest speciella, måste bara upplevas. Hela hotellet verkar som det har gjort sitt. Det vill liksom inte vara med längre. Det finns någon slags restaurang och bar , men de är inte öppna. Det finns även en ”terrass” den är, hmm, sittbar. Det finns pulverkaffe och en mikrovågsugn! Gillar man heltäckningsmatta, är detta stället för dig! Vi hade ett rum på andra våningen, tror vi!? Det mest spännande var att det kändes som ett källarrum! Badrummet påminde om vår tvättstuga då jag var barn på 70-talet. Mannen som tog emot oss var mycket trevlig och var även den som skulle göra frukost, vilket vi inte tog. Priset stämde inte med vad som uppgavs. Det hade tydligen varit en översvämning, vilket lukten i trapphus tydligt bevisade. Ett par 100 meter från hotellet finns ett ölhak värt att besöka.

Vi blev mødt af den sødeste receptionist, der gav os vores værelse flere timer før tid. Vi fik sublim service alle dage, og selvom hotellet bærer præg af at være af ældre dato, var der gjort virkelig meget ud af rengøring og hygge. Der var altid kaffe til rådighed, vi fik serveret kolde øl uden at skulle stille hverken nøgle eller betalingskort som sikkerhed - en helt igennem fantastisk oplevelse. Restauranten var lukket til aften, men pga hotellets beliggenhed kunne vi gå lige ud for døren og vælge mellem flere gode spisesteder. Morgenmaden var mere end rimelig i pris (50 kr), og ganske udmærket - dækkede fint vores behov. Eneste kritikpunkt var hovedpuden på værelset; den var alt for stor og hård.
