It is an old theme park, which has probably 5 different go carts and 4 outdated wooden roller coasters. I was too tall for all of them. I have no idea why they did not set up a bigger variety of rides. I saw significant less staff there than in any other theme park, and they all seem mediocre motivated. The park purchased all old motels in the area and send their visitors there. The sky bridge was closed and full of garbage, but you would not have made it to the park w/o the car anyway. At least the parking fees were waived for hotel guests. The water park has a ton of very crazy thrill rides, but on a summer weekend the lines were about 45 minutes each. The kids had an ok time; we will probably try out something else next time.

Front desk staff were super nice and helpful. The outdoor water parks had tons of fun activities, and my kids could honestly spend the whole day there and never get bored. Downside was the hotel room (Rome) — the lobby always had a weird smell, and the room was humid, dusty, and not very clean. Still gave it 4 stars because the check-in staff were great and the water parks made up for it.

Rooms where dirty. Bugs on window sil. Also had 2 rooms that were supposed to be side by side. The put a somone else between us that also had friend or family in room otherside of ours so was every other. Those had little kids around 3 to 6 years oldrunning around by doors till 3 in the morning in parking lot with no supervision making it so wife and i couldnt sleep. Also bedding is the cheapist most uncomfortable blankets ever. They were stiff and course thin blankets that made hard to sleep

The room i booked was not what was provided. The room was in a shadeu complex which looked like a crack/drug house. Appeared unsafe for my family. The two queen beds were old, sagging in the middle, dirty carpet. Seedy hotel. Waterpark was like 3 blocks away! Totally misrepresented in the advertisement. We walked in the room and walked out. No way. Wanted my money back for unsatisfactory and misrepresented advertisement but was refused. I will never stay at Mt Olymbus. Total scam. Had a great time at tbe Kalahari Resort however, which was beautiful and clean. Tbey were willing to help me in tbis terrible situation and did upgrade us to a suite.
