Good for traveling through

We stopped here just north of WI Dells on the way from Canada to Mississippi because I didn’t want to stay in a damp room near the water parks. The staff was super friendly and made check in easy. The room was simple but clean (and dry) and the bed was comfortable. It’s right behind a truck stop so there was lights and noise all night which didn’t bother me but a light sleeper might want to stay on the backside of the hotel.

I thought the housekeeping could use improvement. On Saturday when they knocked, I asked if they could come back in 45 minutes and they said yes, but upon returning that evening, the room hadn't been touched. I informed management of this. Also, this was the first time that I have stayed anywhere that the bed was not made at all!

Go somewhere else! For starters the toilet seat was broken, dirt and stains on floor and walls in bathroom. The people above us must have taken 20 showers all we heard all night was the shower running. The pillows were so thin that I had a stiff neck in morning. The food for breakfast was average. Not worth 130 for that place.

The property feels homey and safe. Very quiet, staff was very friendly. Breakfast was adequate, despite not having hot water for guest who wants oatmeal. Overall, it was a good experience. I will go back there again.
