Nightmare

Had to change rooms twice and no I am not a habitual complainer first room next to toilet and bang opposite gym second room bed broken fan would not turn off so kept us awake then in the morning sound like chairs coming through roof obviously dining room direct above we got a deal so I my opinion they put you in the worst rooms

Everything is good except the parking situation. You have to park in a near by parking place with a discounted price. When i searched for hotel i specified a free parking but the details are hidden in the description. You have to walk a bit to get to parking which is the only problem with this. Rest everything is good. Loved their breakfast buffet

One of the two rooms smelt pretty bad of drains. The windows would not open and temperature hard to reduce to something comfortable. Sheets not cotten but a poly cotton.

Nice hotel in a great location for the centre of York and train station. Comfortable beds and good selection of breakfast. My one complaint would be the air conditioning, the rooms were very stuffy and hot and the air conditioning did not appear to be blowing out cool air. We were given a fan from reception but i cant imagine the room will be pleasant in the height of summer.

The front entrance is "unfortunate"... It is situated opposite what looks like derelict building and you have to go down some steps to gain entrance.

Long weekend break

Absolutely lovely stay, hotel clean and great breakfast included. Would have given 5* across the board had we not been left without toilet paper on our last day. I had to help myself from one of the service trolleys.

Great stay in York.

Superb stay in a high floor room. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the usual excellent choice with the not surprising crowds but no queuing. Suggesting the wall in view from the windows is painted with York murals rather than the rough horrid view at moment.

Fabulous hotel, close to city centre, rooms spacious and modern (5th floor). Very comfortable and so quiet. Shower amazing and got to mention the hairdryer.....brilliant, not like the usual standard offered. Must stay......trust me!
