You got a very nice welcoming from the staff , you was made to feel at home . The breakfast was very nice as you had a choice of what eat . And rooms very comfortable .

The Apple house staff were great. Very friendly, easy check in, nice breakfast for reasonable. The neighborhood is very cute with several cafes, restaurants, pubs, and shopping. This place is very close to York and is a good place to use as a home base for a visit. The room was quite dated and could use some updating. There is street noise.

The owners are friendly and attentive . They treat every customer like a VIP. The house is well- maintained. You can see every details the owners made. It is not the style of modern hotel but we enjoy our stay in this cozy and traditional english building.

Charming and cute BnB

First thing, the most charming owner of the guest house greets you upon arrival and gives you the biggest of smiles. We were show to our room with a very comfortable bed and a nice shower. And even though the weather was hot, ac and a fan were really good to cool us down. Location is just 5min walk out of the city centre but it’s well connected to buses and the train station. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever tried. Classic full English with homemade eggs and what it feels as local grown food. On an all. A classic English experience

What a lovely little guest house within walking distance to York city centre. Danielle was a lovely host who made sure everything was in order for us. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the fact that parking is included makes this place good value for money. The only thing worth noting is that the loft room is up 3 sets of stairs (the last one being a little steep) so bear that in mind if you have luggage or if you plan on doing the climb up the York Cathedral Tower tour (like we did!) Would definitely recommend.

the hosts are lovely people, very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is very convenient for travel, sightseeing and city centre. The breakfast was excellent including a very good selection of fruit and cereal as well as the full english. I would definitely stay here again.
