Very enjoyable stay at York Pavillion hotel , the place has bags of charm and appeal. We had the 4 poster bed room which was spacious and clean Bed very comfortable Decor could do with an update , barely any sockets available with none at the bedside but we managed Breakfast was fine, only one hot drinks machine for tea and coffee which at busy times causes long wait continental breakfast ,small croissants only but nothing else available in pastries . Fruit was nice and all very tasty , hot breakfast was ok , All in all a very nice stay , we enjoyed our time in York.

Staff helpful and friendly. Deluxe room, not a chance. Very tired and more than old fashioned. Putting a sign in the reception saying the hotel is ‘old fashioned’ is not a reason or an excuse. Furniture being moved noisily after 12 midnight in the courtyard under the bedrooms unacceptable.

The hotel was amazing, old fashioned and quaint. We had a lovely stay with no issues. The front desk staff, bartender and even the owner were so kind and personally took care of us after we came too early before check in. The room was very cozy and had a homelike feel. 5 stars, would stay again.

On the outskirts of York but has regular transport links into the city centre. Had great breakfast options during the week but the weekend buffet is slightly less impressive but adequate. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and of a decent size. There’s some eateries within a two minute walk - highly recommend the nearby sandwich shop. Would definitely staff here again.
