We had to stay one night in Tahiti to catch the ferry to Moorea the next day. This hotel was walking distance to everything. The ferry, food, bars, and a grocery store to grab snacks and drinks for our stay in Bora Bora. Was a basic room. And very clean with friendly staff.

The room and bathroom were spacious. The shower was big, the water pressure strong, and the water temperature warm/hot. This place amazed us. The rooms were amazing, very comfortable and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend.

Polynesian Cabins by Kon Tiki
Great place to stay in town. Center of everything and I’m front of the ferries. Stayed there twice during my time in Papeete. Got the cabin bunk for a solo traveler no complaints communal showers outside that separates men and woman. Easy place for easy travelers.

Hotel Sarah Nui
Stayed a few nights before the ferry to Moorea. Close to the ferry terminal and everything else within walking distance too. Breakfast was good and worth the money.
