Helpful staff, great breakfast (including eggs and pancakes even though a cold breakfast was advertised). The room was clean and comfortable, (love the handheld shower). The only thing missing was luggage stands. The room temperature was cold and impossible to change but I’m sure the staff would have assisted if we had asked. Hotel is a 20 to 30 minute walk from popular attractions.

Pretty standard for a holiday inn express. We found a silverfish in a bed one night, they changed our room promptly. Was a good budget hotel, nothing fancy, just basic, reasonably clean other than the bug in the bed and a few crumbs and bits around the room that weren’t cleaned up. Pretty normal for a holiday inn express

This is a boutique hotel. The hotel pictured on Expedia shows a beautiful canal. You could not see it from the hotel. It's a very dirty area near the Red Light district. There is nothing nearby to do and no restaurants that are convenient. The room is very basic. No frig or microwave if you brought food back. The breakfast is basic and never changes. They say they provide gluten free food. They brought my wife some crackers.

Exactly what was expected of the global hotel chain. The staff were friendly, the room was clean-ish (there were some stains on the carpet, a big cobweb in one corner of the ceiling, and a funny smell in the corridor - not sure if there’s been some recent painting done?). The location was ok for getting to the train station or going to the NEMO Museum, but if I come back again, I might try staying further into the city centre. We were a 10-15 minute walk away from the different restaurants we dined at each night. We had breakfast at the hotel which was ok, but would be better with a new system for time slots. We were told to book time slots at reception to guarantee a seat, but even after booking a time slot, it was difficult to find somewhere to sit and eat. Overall, a good stay for what we paid.

Greatly valued a front desk with 24/7 staff who were always friendly and helpful. Very easy and fast check in, lovely canal view, good breakfast at hotel and provided a packed breakfast when we had to leave early in the morning, very convenient location to walk to and from train station, easy walk to local sights and range of dining options to walk to.
