Cherish was amazing, all the staff were. Felt very welcomed. You can tell they've done some rennovations and the building is nice, didnt feel run down or unsafe. Not a 5 star hotel but you have to be reasonable for what youre paying. Affordable and in a great spot in the downtown area. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely use it again if staying in the area

The Downtown Inn and Suites has a great location for exploring Asheville—conveniently situated within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. The room itself was clean and functional, offering a simple place to rest after a day out. However, the breakfast was very basic, with limited options and not quite what we expected. If you’re looking for a more complete breakfast experience, you might want to plan on eating elsewhere. Overall, it’s a decent budget-friendly option if location is your top priority, but amenities like breakfast may fall short for some travelers.

Spent the night in Asheville and Downtown Inn and Suites was well located to explore by foot all the great stuff the city has to offer. After the devastation left by Hurricane Helene it's great to see Asheville rise and continue to flourish.

It's an older hotel, maybe a Holiday Inn decades ago, but it's clean, cheap, and really close walking distance to all that's available in downtown Asheville, and that's a lot.

I appreciate the kindness at the front reception desk. I did not have a car and they allowed me to stay… I didn’t know you couldn’t stay without a vehicle. I used to live here, it’s been very upgraded, this hotel. I enjoyed my stay and will return.

not worth it

The place is very run down, with cracks and water damage in the walls and ceiling. Parking is a nightmare, and my car was damaged in the hotel parking lot. There is no insulation from the street noise outside, which is constant, so I got very little rest the whole time I was there. I will never stay at this hotel again.
