We chose this hotel because it was a reasonable price and had a good location to the downtown Asheville area, which we thought wasn’t worth going to. The breakfast buffet was $16.95, but we didn’t think it was worth it. The food was average,, at best. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Parking was easy and the staff was friendly. Good coffee in the morning, in the lobby.

A bit disappointing

Parking lot was unsecured but felt safe. The hotel was much drabbier in person than it seemed online. We learned they were going to be getting a full renovation soon but it felt like we were there mid-reno. The front lobby was kind of a mess. Didn’t try the breakfast. Free coffee in the lobby was fine. But the staff were all very nice.

Great place to stay on hiking trip

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. It wasn't loud. It worked for me for a weeklong solo hiking trip. Located downtown so youve got all the shopping/eating/drinking within a few blocks. I would stay again!

I was in town to visit friends and to see a show. The hotel was within walking distance to the venue. The room was clean and very comfortable and the rate was good. I loved downtown Asheville. There was great entertainment and dining also within walking distance.

Fist floor seems desolate… I don’t know what’s going on there but it was frightening. I stayed on the second floor. My room smelled like other peoples body odor, musky and felt damp. AC worked but turned off frequently and just made the room feel more humid. The room was tolerable, but I probably won’t be staying there again.

The staff was amazing and very accommodating. Friendly and pleasant service. This hotel is dated, dirty and in need of updating and maintenance. We had to have maintenance come in several times and still couldn't get the toilet fixed. The room smelled very musty.
