While the exterior of the building reflects its mid-80s opening date, the interior design is stunning. The rooms are modernized and, despite being small, have a surprisingly open and contemporary feel. Ample storage is available for those staying more than a few days. There are many dining options within walking distance, although shopping is unexpectedly limited for a downtown area. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Atlanta.

This Marriott is beautiful, clean, and located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. I was in town for a conference located at the Hyatt Regency across the street and it was great not to have to walk outside. The Skybridge connecting the Marriott and Hyatt was a wonderful convenience. I would definitely stay at the Marriott again. My room was clean, all of the staff from the front desk to housekeeping were kind and friendly. Thank you Marriott Marquis! I’ll be back!

The hotel was nice,but the room we stayed in was not very nice. The carpet was torn & looked dirty. The beds were not that comfortable, they were just a mattress on a platform. We have stayed here before and the rooms we stayed in were a lot nicer.
