I will never stay at Sonesta ES Suites Baltimore BWI Airport again. I paid $708 for a stay from February 11–15, and the experience has been completely unacceptable. I had to switch rooms multiple times because the first two rooms were infested with roaches. The next room had a dirty, grimy oven, no shower curtain, no washcloths, no TV remote, and the televisions were not working. After reporting everything to the front desk, I left briefly and returned to find only one TV partially working, while another still showed a network error and the other cable box didn’t work at all.
What made this even worse is that no managers were available onsite, and I was told, “they’re not here on the weekends.” No manager has communicated with me directly at all. I was also told they could not refund or partially refund me because I booked through Hotels.com, which is extremely frustrating given the unsanitary conditions, missing basic amenities, and non-functioning equipment.
This stay has been inconvenient, stressful, and extremely disappointing—especially for the amount I paid. I would strongly advise others to choose a different hotel in the BWI area.
