Lovely property just off the Main Street avoiding all the noise of traffic. Service was excellent from all of the staff, very accommodating and welcoming. We arrived at 5am into Bangkok and knew we would be waiting a while for check-in. We were able to check in early around 10am which was extremely accommodating of the property as check in normally is 2pm. The rooms are lovey and spacious, and has the nicest bed I’ve ever slept on. All of the toiletries and free water was also a very nice touch. The location is also in a very nice spot. The only thing with the location is you’re 15 minutes away from the station, which can be quite far in the heat. That being said, it was still a lovely location to say in and we would stay here again if we ever visit Bangkok again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality!

This property is very boutique and nice feel , its close to the State Tower building if tou know where hangover has been filmed . It has lots of earing places around and also massage places . 7/11 s ect so very central and convenient. It may be a bit far to main places if tou want to viait particular places like the pallace temples ect def need to get a taxi and sometimes thats not available duw to crazy traffic . So if you have shorr stay location is excellent . Walking distance to state tower and the cube sky walk . The room was great wveeyrhing you need ,they made it pleasant and clean but veey heavy humidity mold smell .

Amazing stay, from booking to check out. Blown away by this stay. Location fabulous. Room Divine and bed and pillows like clouds. Bath in bathroom was superb. Love love love and would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with loud guests that ruined stay.

I booked the best Colonial room here and it was clean and pretty. There was an antique display cabinet which had corners that stuck out so I was careful when walking near it. The pool and courtyard were relaxing and well maintained. My room was clean. It was located in a great area. The front desk closed around 10 PM. The security guard did not speak English. There were three or four loud men staying underneath my room. They loudly talked until almost 1 AM. As a solo female traveller, I did not want to tell them to please lower their voices or stop talking for my safety. I had to be up at 6 AM for a flight. Beautiful hotel with guests that ruined my sleep and stay. There was a hotel info. sheet in the room that said to please be quiet after 10 PM.

Great value stay.

Stayed just one night. Big room and clean enough. Staff were helpful. Great value. A tiny bit away from the fun stuff but it’s all easily accessible by tuktuk or taxi.

This is a fabulous spot in Bangkok that I highly reccommend to everyone! Feels like a home away from home. Not many rooms so the staff are attentive and the service is personal. The pool offers a refreshing dip after a hot day in the city. The location is perfect - about 10 min walk to Surasak BTS or you can walk the other way to the river to catch ferries or boats. A 7-11 right on the corner and lots of food stalls pop up on the otherwise very quiet street. Beautiful hotel, do not hesitate to book here!

Beautiful property. Pool nice and cool in hot weather. Breakfast generous portions, and can be made vegetarian (the fried eggs are cooked perfectly). Customer service excellent. My sister reported a problem with her air con and it was fixed the same day. Can call taxis for guests to airports at reasonable price. 10min walk from BTS. Many good restaurants nearby. Would stay again!

Absolutely exquisite boutique hotel in the heart of Bangkok. Wonderful service, delightful room and the best most comfortable bed and bedding I have slept in for over 60 years. Set in a beautiful courtyard with fish ponds and beautiful trees this hotel will not disappoint. Forget the big chains, this is the best stay I’ve ever had in any major city.

This was a beautiful hotel and a great location. It was within walking distance to plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, convenience stores and grocers. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. My only wishes would be next time they replace seating, to upgrade to a better quality. The quality of sofa and bench cushion really didn’t fit with the quality of the rest of the room or hotel - it was uncomfortable and something I would expect to see at a discount furniture store. Still, this was a top hotel throughout my trip to Thailand. I would absolutely stay again.

Baan Vajra was a delightful surprise! The hotel is refreshingly decorated with a nice-kept backyard (a rare gem in the city). The staff, especially Marcus, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always available with a recommendation or a smile, making my stay truly enjoyable.The food at the hotel was delicious, authentically Thai. The coffee in the mornings was absolutely amazing, the best I tasted in the city and the perfect fuel for exploring the vibrant city of Bangkok. At the Holiday Inn hotel lobby nearby, we bought tours and other activities from their guides. Highly recommend Baan Vajra for anyone looking for a comfortable stay, in the city center, with fantastic service and delicious food.
