I didn't notice it was a minimalist hotel when I booked. No staff, no kettle in the room! However the check in was fine, the room clean and comfortable. I would have liked a kettle and a glass or cup but I survived! It is very convenient for the centre and close to the station.

No front desk or staff on site. The kiosk worked to get a key for room. Only 1 elevator that does not go to 5th floor, and it was not working on checkout day. Location is great, with less than 5 minute walk to central train station and waterfront.

This recently and thoughtfully remodeled hotel as clean, neat and efficient rooms that provide everything you need and nothing you don’t. The automated check in is easy to understand once you have obtained a “reference code” which was not included with my Expedia booking info but can be obtained my messaging the hotel through Expedia. The location is in a quaint neighborhood near restaurants and the Bryggan area. It’s also a short walk to the funicular, which takes you to the top of the mountain where there’s a wonderful view, excellent restaurant, hiking trails, and much more.

Hadde ikke fått med meg at det var uten frokost og TV. Skuffet. Kunne gjerne vært ihvertfall vannkoker/pulverkaffe på rommet eller gratis kaffe i lobby. Hadde ikke fått bookingnummer på forhånd så måtte oppsøke hjelp til innsjekk. Ellers pent, rent og stille. Fantastiske senger og dyner!
