Great base for Blackpool away from centre

The hotel is an excellent base if youre staying in Blackpool. I preferred to leave the car and walk through Stanley Park into town although it is about 45 mins. Facilities are great, leisure club, Starbucks, great beer garden and also a golf course. Lovely surroundings. We had a family room with a bunk bed which was basic but had everything required. To improve i would like a firmer pillow, privacy glass on ground floor as the outdoor pool users have a birdeye view into your room. The pool is also open at 6am and the users were particularly noisey at 6.30 waking us and children up perhaps a few more rules aswell as no running or heavt petting. All staff we encountered were polite, friendly and helpful. In all agreat couple of nights, would definately recommend and stst again.

We were unable to use the pool and jacuzzi due to it being full of men and as a female i didn't feel comfortable in that environment. I found the breakfast very unsatisfying considering the cost, it was luke warm and no offer of eggs cooked other than scrambled which was swimming in water

Absolutely stunning views, rooms are lovely and clean, and the staff are really helpful. The only downside was as there was a large booking in the bar and grill restaurant area, our booking was moved to the Helter Skelter area for ‘overflow’. Because of this, we were given a reduced menu instead of the menu we would have been given at the bar and grill. Food was still lovely, however, not what we wanted/expected and would have liked for us to be able to order from the menu we booked for.

My only issue was with the room service. I ordered a salad on Tuesday 15th and when it hadn't arrived after an hour and a bit, I went down to the bar / grill to enquire. They knew about it but also said they never received the ticket. Nobody let me know, the order was accepted and paid for and I had to wait for 1.5 hours to receive a salad. Not good enough.

Nicest Village Hotel I’ve ever been to!

This is by far my most favourite Village Hotel. Wow!!!! Beautiful building and grounds. Lovely hotel room. Felt very safe here. I’m already planning a trip back!!

Sports focused. Not for me

Hotel is very sports focused. Bar was so loud. Did not feel comfortable or relaxed. Maybe the time I stayed but several very loud and rude guests. Arguments in the corridor outside my room. Kids running up and down gone midnight. My room was strange. Double bed and bunk beds. Very dark. Only smile I got was on check in and the chamber maid the next morning who was lovely.

Hi Our stay in the hotel wasn't so pleasent for my wife as when she was getting changed to go into the swimming pool area a fully grown man came out of one of the cubicles when my wife was totally undressed, as you can imagine its not a very nice feeling and she wanted to go home but eventually we decided to stay the night . The room iself was very nice and comfy and clean. My wife still very upset about what happened tho.
