It's a nice hotel and very conveniently located, but I would not recommend it for families, sharing, the shower is in the center the room and is only surrounded by frosted glass . Unless of course, you get more than one room, I think it's perfect

I had never stayed at a citizenM before. I really liked it. I was a little surprised by the size of the room but I was traveling alone and the size ended up being perfect. I enjoyed the modern, European style to the room. Had a very Ikea-look (that was said in a positive way) and I enjoyed the modern touches such as the iPad controls. The staff was very accomadating and even though the check-in is more "self" check-in, the staff is right there to assist and help along the way. The location was ideal for me as well. I had never been to Boston and didn't exactly know what area to stay in. I thought North Station was great for me. Close to mass transit and I could walk easily to the North End, downtown and the waterfront. I had very few "cons" about the place. The mini fridge was definitely mini but based on the layout and size of the room, I get it. I would have liked a microwave in the room. It wasn't the end of the world since there is one in the breakfast/bar area. Definitely would stay there again, especially if traveling alone. With a partner, it would be good too but not ideal for families.

I missed the 11:30pm train but thankfully Citizens is right next door. I was able to book the room and check in within 10 minutes. I was so happy with my room, I had an amazing view. Nice clean shower and space for a single person or couple. Will always stay at Citizens when I go to Boston now!

Hotel room was small but I was a solo traveler. It was good enough. Bed was super comfortable and lined up along three walls. Night shade was amazing. The North Station subway stop, plenty of restaurants and a Star supermarket were downstairs. Faneuil Hall and Old North church were nearby. The mini refrigerator didn’t cool at all. This was disappointing. I was offered use of a hotel fridge but it’s not convenient. Luckily I didn’t need to bring medication that needed refrigeration for this trip. There is no kettle or microwave in the room. However, there was a microwave in the breakfast area. You can refill water bottles in bar area as well. Overall, I would definitely return to this hotel cuz it was clean and convenient.
